Le Saint-Cirq (Tour-de-Faure, Occitanie) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set just across the river from the spectacular cliffside village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, the Hôtel-Spa Le Saint Cirq is styled like a tiny village of its own, a contemporary build using traditional materials in a classic style. The rooms, suites, and family rooms are antique in inspiration but with modern interventions like climate control and heated towel racks; the spa is a substantial one, and includes an 18-meter heated indoor pool as well as a hammam and sauna. Breakfast is served on site, while for dinner you’re off to the village via a shuttle service provided by the hotel." - Tablet Hotels

Hôtel Le Saint-Cirq is a very charming place in a beautiful setting. The rooms are cosy and nicely designed, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming.||The highlight for me was the lovely breakfast – fresh, local and served in a relaxed setting with a great view.||However, I was disappointed by the spa. It lacked professionalism and felt a bit neglected. It wasn’t very clean, there were no towels available, and the facilities didn’t seem well maintained. Especially considering that the spa isn’t included in the room price and has to be paid extra, I expected more care and quality.||For a one-night stay it was perfectly fine – but I would probably not choose it for a longer stay unless the spa gets an update.

Rooms are spacious and clean but it was impossible to use AC (the hotel switched all of them to heat mode and it was impossible to change it). Not possible to charge the phone without unplugging the light next to the bed, no TV, no boiler, and screaming doors waking up ourselves when going to the toilets during the night. Breakfasts are too expensive (15,90€) for random and very little choices (omelette is 4€ more, additional fruit juice is again 4€ more, etc..) One last thing, you will need a car to drink something (hotel main room is closing at 7:30pm) and getting to St Cirq Lapopie is 45min walk even if the view to it is quite nice (on the other side of the river) Disappointed

Have stayed here a few times and our favourite hotel in France. Fantastic location. We had self catering apartment which suited us but they now cud do with a small upgrade. But will be back in 2025

What a location! Nestled in the limestone cliffs of quaint ancient village of St. Cirq Lapopie, this spa hotel is stunning, and the view!!! Every inch is meticulously designed to please the eye of the guest....from the paint colors (love the dove gray), the locally sourced breakfast, served on a large and sunny patio to the beautiful linens, bedding and drapes. Kind hosts Eric and Herve do everything to insure guests have an amazing stay. Huge property with fruit and olive trees, rosemary, lavender, etc...a sensory pleasure and not a Euro has been spared. Thick wooden doors, comfy beds and hot powerful showers, what more could anyone ask.

Amazing surprise on our way back from Spain to Paris. Everything was top quality from room quality to the view on the village, and the breakfast. We decided to extend for one night to further enjoy the location. The owner is master of the ceremony (hosting, serving and cooking the breakfast… amazing pain perdu and much more discoveries of local products …) and helped us along our stay to take most advantage of our time there. I highly recommend the place and surely will be back.

AVOID! The hotel is run down. Our room felt like being in a dungeon, it only had a door and no windows. It smelled terrible. A lot of effort in the bathroom, good shower, but terribly uncomfortable toilet. We booked through Booking and we never got any response to our inquiries. From there, we started to have a bad feeling about our choice. The costumer service of this hotel is completely terrible. It is obvious they don't care at all about being good hosts and making the guest welcome. Coming from a hotel booked also through Booking in Rocamadour, where the owner greeted us personally with such grace and friendliness, it was a complete shock. Here we didn't feel comfortable or welcomed. Everything had an odd vibe. Kind of depressing. Thank goodness for the view to Saint Cirq, at least something to cheer us up. We couldn't wait for morning to come so we could leave and have it behind us. I would reccomend against booking here

Beautiful hotel in amazing village. Stayed here twice this summer- once on the way down to Pyrennes Orientales and once on the way back. The hotel itself is very pretty as were both of the rooms we had. Great gardens and views and lvoely pool. Breakfast is superb.
