We stayed at Hotel Le Sud just outside of Antibes in July 2025, originally booking for 4 nights, but unfortunately decided to leave early due to several disappointing aspects of our stay To start with, the location was not as described. It’s significantly further from the beach than we expected, and the surrounding area felt a bit rough. We often passed groups of people drinking and intoxicated near the street-not a pleasant feeling when walking back to your car, especially in the evening. Parking was another issue. It was nearly impossible to find a street spot, and while the hotel offered a discount for a nearby public car park, it was still a fair distance away and inconvenient. The hotel itself was extremely basic. The carpet felt very cheap and worn, and there was visible dust and grime in areas like the bottom of the closet-giving the impression that cleanliness and upkeep weren’t high priorities. Service was disappointing overall. Apart from one kind and helpful young woman at the front desk, the rest of the staff were unhelpful and at times unfriendly. When we spoke with the manager about our experience and our decision to shorten the stay, he was dismissive and rude. He refused any refund for the unused nights and showed no willingness to listen or resolve the issue professionally. Based on our experience, we feel the online reviews may not accurately reflect the reality of this hotel. While the photo’s might make it appear stylish or charming, the actual experience was a letdown. We would not return and wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for comfort, convenience, or genuine hospitality.

Cozy and authentic hotel with good location. 1 min walk from train station, quiet area. The bed was surprisingly soft, spacious rooms and incredibly cozy and helpful staff. I was here at my birthday, and the staff gave me a present and card😍 |The breakfast could be better with more alternatives, and I miss sunbeads at the pool. However, I would like to come back to this cute hotel-I love the vibe here😍

Very convenient location about 100 steps from the train station and a 5-minute walk from the Palais des congrès. For a decent rate, the rooms are small but well appointed. Daily maid service was impeccable. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. There is a bar and secluded pool area. Fun to relax out there. There is a continental breakfast with obligatory croissants and cafe au lait. In all, we had a lovely stay.

returned from a truly wonderful weekend stay at Hotel Le Sud in Antibes, and I couldn’t recommend it more! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. The hotel effortlessly blends Mediterranean charm with modern elegance, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and inviting. The Rooms: Beautifully designed with a chic, coastal aesthetic, my room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a serene ambiance perfect for unwinding. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the high-quality amenities, made my stay extra comfortable. Plus, the balcony offered stunning views—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a sunset drink. The Service: The staff at Hotel Le Sud went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were incredibly attentive, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems around Antibes. Their warm, personalized service truly made a difference. The Location: Situated in a prime spot, the hotel is just a short stroll away from the beach, charming boutiques, and some of the best dining spots in town. It’s the ideal base for exploring the beauty of the French Riviera. The Ambiance: The entire property exudes a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe, with beautifully curated interiors, lush gardens, and cozy common spaces that make you want to linger just a little longer. I can’t wait to return to Hotel Le Sud—it’s a hidden gem that perfectly captures the essence of Antibes. If you’re looking for a stylish, welcoming, and perfectly located hotel for a Riviera getaway, this is the place to be!

The staff was amazing, Hôtel was very clean, chic, and had all the amenities one would need. Walking distance to old Antibes and a short train or car ride to other incredible attractions in the area. Breakfast was a welcomed nice touch!

We booked Hotel de Sud as our base for a long weekend over the 1st of May.|The location is great — really convenient for getting to the beach, the city center, and all the main attractions in the area.|The interiors are nicely done, and breakfast was good with a decent variety.||Just a couple of things they could improve: it would be nice if they provided slippers, especially since there’s carpet in the room. Also, the light on the bathroom mirror is really dim, which makes shaving or doing your skincare routine a bit tricky.||Overall, I’d recommend it — but I do think these small things could make a big difference.

I had a lovely stay in the hotel, friendly staff, superclean and cozy room and especially the bed. So close to the station of Juan les Pins, which makes it so easy to explore the surrounding cities. Would definitely recommend to stay at Hôtel le Sud, must be even nicer during warmer days to spend some hours in the cute garden/ pool area!
