Hotel Le Sud is perfectly situated, close to the town centre, beach and train station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the accommodation is great. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is superb with a good variety of foods, including scrambled egg and sausages. I have been to this hotel many times and it just improves with age!

Loved this little boutique hotel! A lovely little oasis in a busy town. The hotel is right next to the train station which makes it a great base for exploring the Cote d'azur. The pool area is very cute and the cocktail bar is just inside serving a variety of cocktails all day at decent prices. Perfect to come back to after a day at the beach. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but they did allow us to have free coffee in the morning next to the pool. Would definitely come back!

Super cute decor, comfortable beds, clean rooms, the pool is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they have refillable water bottles in every room, and the breakfast is easily worth the extra few euros. My only note is that the shower smelled a little damp but other than that, 10/10.

Everything was good, a smaller pool in a cozy backyard area. The owner has clearly tried to put thought into details like always having a water bottle waiting for you at the room, the breakfast, and the decor of the hotel, but the carpet is outdated and while most things seem clean- I was very turned off by the smell of damp in the bathroom and the lack of lighting to get ready in the morning. We had a car and it was hard to find parking, which is understandable coming in the beginning of August. The beach is close but still a bit of a walk, same with Old Town, where most restaurants and things to do are. Overall it’s a good budget option if your expectations are not too high.

Conveniently located 5 minutes from everything. Cool and funky with a friendly face to meet you at check in. We had a joint family room which was spotless, comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. Nice touches of a bottle of water . Breakfast was good and the terrace area near the pool is quiet and clean . Staff are very helpful , efficient and friendly. Bag storage while waiting for the train was convenient as well after checking out so we could check out the town was and added bonus.

Hotel was in a weird location, smelling bad (I mean, BAD!) in the reception, staff was rude (agree with some other reviews here that seemed that they wish we would leave asap) and breakfast looked completely not worth it (thank god we didn’t include it in our stay). Room was clean and pillows were comfy, but that was all. Furniture was old and everything in the hotel looked very old, just painted white. It felt like a scam in my opinion because the pictures looked super nice. One thing they know how to do well at least: their marketing. Don’t fall for it.

We had a mediocre to low-quality stay at Hotel Le Sud. The place has cute decor and a sweet vibe, but unfortunately ran into some inconveniences. The shower head holder was broken so we had to hold the head ourselves. Not the end of the world. The WiFi kept kicking us off every 15 minutes which was annoying while we tried to watch a movie. The area was not as nice as we were expecting, but we are relaxed and it was fine. The biggest issue with our stay is that someone opened our room door while we were sleeping. When we complained to the front desk about this, they said it was housekeeping, but they did not knock and we thought this was an invasion of our privacy. It’s got nice decor and an affordable price, but I think next time we’ll stay somewhere else.

We stayed at Hotel Le Sud just outside of Antibes in July 2025, originally booking for 4 nights, but unfortunately decided to leave early due to several disappointing aspects of our stay To start with, the location was not as described. It’s significantly further from the beach than we expected, and the surrounding area felt a bit rough. We often passed groups of people drinking and intoxicated near the street-not a pleasant feeling when walking back to your car, especially in the evening. Parking was another issue. It was nearly impossible to find a street spot, and while the hotel offered a discount for a nearby public car park, it was still a fair distance away and inconvenient. The hotel itself was extremely basic. The carpet felt very cheap and worn, and there was visible dust and grime in areas like the bottom of the closet-giving the impression that cleanliness and upkeep weren’t high priorities. Service was disappointing overall. Apart from one kind and helpful young woman at the front desk, the rest of the staff were unhelpful and at times unfriendly. When we spoke with the manager about our experience and our decision to shorten the stay, he was dismissive and rude. He refused any refund for the unused nights and showed no willingness to listen or resolve the issue professionally. Based on our experience, we feel the online reviews may not accurately reflect the reality of this hotel. While the photo’s might make it appear stylish or charming, the actual experience was a letdown. We would not return and wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for comfort, convenience, or genuine hospitality.
