a very pleasant stay for one week skiing. The bedroom although small bathroom was well presented and clean. Staff overall very polite and warm towards the guests etc... special thanks to " Stefanie " German Girl in the F&B area...very nice manner and kind when dealing with guests.

We have just came back at home after 1 week in Tignes, the hotel reached our expectations. We booked an apartment , it was really comfortable, cozy and quiet. Hotel staff really nice and helpful with whatever doubt, question or need we had. A few weeks before to start the holidays, because an accident, 2 people couldn’t join it, we ask the Montagnettes to change the booking, and they did it. We are super grateful to them. There is an exit door direct to the slopes and the ski room was fantastic, cleaning and heating, we had every morning our boots and skis ready to ride the mountain. Next year we will repeat!!

Fantastic, spacious & modern. Much better than your standard French ski resort accommodation that is often old & dated. My only feedback would be the area where you put your boots on is way too hot and needs some hooks to hang jackets/helmet's whilst you get ready. Otherwise perfect !!

A lovely stay in sunny Tignes during Easter. We chose Le Taos in Tignes as a change from our usual stays in Val D’Isere. We stayed in a 3 bed/2 bath apartment which was huge. Loads of space. The only thing which was a downer was the layout of the kitchen space which was very cramped and not well laid out or practical. Given the size of the apartment, the kitchen was practically the size of a double wardrobe! Couldn’t swing a cat in it and would be in danger of banging your head on a cupboard. Friends of ours staying complained of how long it took to get the cooker to heat up so those wanting to cook meals and stay in may struggle with the cooker, alongside the space afforded. Other than that, the ski room was massive, ski in and out or a quick 2 min walk down to the main Le Lac centre are your options to get to the slopes. Finally special mention to all the staff who were great and looked after us especially as my daughter hurt her foot on the trip. They allowed us to keep the car at the front of hotel during the week so she wouldn’t have to amble around too much. Parking btw downstairs in the hotel is quite tight and narrow for those with larger SUVs as it did for us. We did enquiry with the hotel and chose instead for Le Rosset nearby as they kindly sent the measurements to us. Le Rosset is 2 min walk away and nice and wide. If you buy a week pass, you can exit and enter as much as you like. The sauna and steam was very good too. Pool a touch cold for me but the kids loved it so no complaints! Overall a great stay, reasonably priced and we would recommend to anyone. Next year we’ve chosen to go to VAL THORENS and stay with the Les Montagnettes again.

We had a fabulous week staying at The Taos. The apartment offers a great social space for our family of 5 to enjoy. Pool area was a welcome after a day of skiing. In a great location with ski in/out and a short stroll to the shops/bars. |The kitchen is very compact which was a shame but overall did not detract from a great stay.

On the plus side, the apartment was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Good location, easy access to and from the ski slopes, convenient lockers for ski storage etc. Booking lift passes through Le Taos got us a discounted price, which is appreciated. The staff were without exception pleasant and helpful. However......||The welcome pack is valued, but only contained 5 dishwasher tablets. We were there for a 7 night stay, and surely it's reasonable to expect dishwasher use once per day? You saved a few Cents but we had the choice of buying a large box of tablets which we would then have to mostly waste, or washing up in the bowl at more inconvenience. You saved Cents but created bad feeling with us, and what is the sense in that?||Similarly there weren't enough toilet rolls to last the week, which we then had to find from the supermarket. So you saved E5.48, yet you are quite happy to replace towels unnecessarily mid week which cost you far more? Where is the logic in that?||One of the key cards broke within an hour of moving in and you wanted to charge us E5.00 for replacing it until we objected, when this charge was cancelled. Fair enough. But come on guys, this is part of the normal wear and tear we pay for in the rental so SUCK IT UP!||All of these are minor things which would have made life so much easier for us as temporary residents and created goodwill out of all proportion to their cost to Le Taos.||So in general, this meanness really grates when we're paying thousands of Euros for a weeks stay.||The kitchen was small but perfectly functional for the style of holiday we wanted, so no complaint. But it's a triumph of style over function because doors close to conceal the sink and cooker.....yet to use anything you have to have the doors open, which then means you have to squeeze back and forward through a narrow space between the open door and the island unit to get to the sink. Perhaps get rid of the doors?||Finally, don't book this apartment if you're attracted by the wellness facilities - the pool is tiny. And COLD! It would be OK for a quick splash to chillout after a day's activity, but not for anything else. That would have been exactly what we wanted (except the freezing temperature!), but unfortunately my wife and daughter gave up using it after attempts on two days because it always seemed to be full of groups of hefty males trying to swim "lengths" and they felt too intimidated.

The Hotel Le Taos is the best hotel / apartments we have stayed in all our trips to the French Alps for skiing. When they say Ski in Ski Out, they really mean it. The Ski room opens on to a green piste. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bread and croissant ordering service was first rate. Plus they even supplied Gluten Free bread which was excellent. I would recommend the Hotel Le Taos. Photo uploaded shows the piste running next to the hotel.

The room was very nice and we'll equipped. The staff is welcoming and nice . There's a small indoor pool and dry and saunas. The hotel is well located, a few minutes walk from the center of Le lac, close to grocery stores, ski equipment stores and restaurants. From the ski room you can go directly on the slops so it's definitely ski in/out.
