We recently stayed at Hotel Le Vanessa after trying various other hotels in Verbier over the past four years, and we couldn’t be happier with the change. The hotel is full of charm, incredibly hospitable, and very family-friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and you truly can’t beat the location—right in the heart of Verbier. The shuttle service to and from the slopes is prompt and reliable, and the manager along with the entire staff made our stay exceptional with their warmth and attentiveness. The spa is a great bonus after a day on the slopes, featuring a large jacuzzi and sauna—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Breakfast was generous with a wide variety of options to suit every preference. While some reviews mentioned extra charges for items not included in the buffet, we appreciated that this was clearly communicated to all guests upon seating—something that’s quite standard in many hotels. We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip!

This hotel is absolutely perfect. The best location. The best staff. Excellent food. The rooms are extremely comfortable. Very clean. First-class in every way. Do not look any further when selecting a hotel in Verbier. This will be the one for you.

Nothing in the room worked. Beds positioned next to a lift shaft (the head of the bed literally next to the shaft wall, it was like someone went out of their way to arrange the room’s furnishings as horribly as possible). The safe was not lockable (it required a room card we were never given) - the fridge cooled nothing. The heat control was a radiator, which even when positioned off, left the room like an oven. The hand crank blinds didn’t close completely, so light and noise were a constant sleep issue. No herbal tea on offer in the room. Complaints to management about the heat and noise shrugged off or ignored. The location is convenient, everything else was an embarrassing disaster. Tacky, dated cheap interiors. Avoid.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful service from the staff, rooms are very spacious and the spa is perfect after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was good with excellent choice. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening. Free underground parking is a real bonus and the drop off and pick from lifts was very efficient

Overall disappointing experience. Staff only occasionally polite and helpful. Room overlooking car park, dark. Bathroom tiny, too small for two people. Had explicitly asked for a quiet room away from the lift when booking (on the hotel website). Nevertheless, our room was right next to the lift (noisy). The disappointing thing was that the staff were not willing to offer us a solution or regret the situation or apologise for the misunderstanding (their answer: I didn't read your message). Wellness area: no daylight, poor ventilation (stuffy air), small sauna (space for a maximum of 4 people), no resting area. No direct access to the outside. Breakfast ok - but be aware there is only one coffee per person included.

Wonderful family friendly hotel with superb location in centre of town. The rooms are clean and spacious (aside from the bathrooms which are on the smaller side.). The family suite was perfect for our family of 4. |The staff are extremely warm and accommodating. They have a wonderful restaurant with a lovely breakfast buffet. The staff were absolutely lovely. Lastly, the shuttle service to and from the slopes made the trip so much easier with little people getting to ski lessons on time. The drivers always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. ||Highly recommend!

Booked the hotel for our family Easter holiday after several friends who either live or have skied in Verbier for 10+ years independently recommended the hotel. They were spot on!Location cannot be beat. Centre of it all yet just off the circle down a small road so no road noise. Owners/staff make you feel like you are staying in a private club/chalet vs hotel chain and super responsive. Views were amazing from our room (see attached photo from room 304). Never a wait for the shuttle for sub 5 minute drive to or back from the Médran lift and boot room made everything user friendly. We usually stay in 5 star hotels and this is 4 star which is probably based on the small bathrooms but have to say that small inconvenience is a worthwhile tradeoff for the overall experience. It was our 2nd time in Verbier (first time stayed at the W) and will recommend to friends and plan to come back for Christmas.

Great location and really good service. The rooms are well outfitted and the staff are very helpful. The shuttle to and from the lifts is perfect and very timely. Breakfast offerings are good. The spa area is very nice with a hot tub and sauna. We will definitely return when in Verbier.

Yelp
Without any doubt, a 5 star hotel. Here is my short list: 1. Location, location, location. Once here you do not need a car. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and even the Médran lift. 2. Hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up from the slopes. Even drive you to dinner if you choose! 3. 3 bedroom suite was large and spacious. Very clean and wonderful linens. Coffee maker and refrigerator in room were a plus. 4. Morning breakfast was included and featured a huge continental breakfast, plus pancakes, eggs and meats. Delicious fresh bakery items as well. 5. Very nice spa and hot tub was relaxing after a day on the slopes. 6. The hotel restaurant was also 5 star with an excellent fondue for the family. Could not have been any better. A perfect stay. We will be back!

Yelp
Pros: Offers a free shuttle Has a parking garage Amazing views Staff is friendly Breakfast buffet can be included The location is convenient for many shops and restaurants Cons: Breakfast buffet is 95% cold foods. That being said, the food was good quality. For the price, and considering that it's catering to tourists, would expect either air conditioning or fans in the rooms during the summer. From 2pm to 7pm, it's difficult to grab a snack. In theory, they have room service, but in practice, they never answered. Also, the hotel has a policy that no food or drink is to be brought into the hotel, and at the same time the room service doesn't answer. There is a mini-bar, but it is not well stocked, only having a few items and the prices are unreasonable ($7 for a small coke). Shower head was handheld and was attached extremely low to the handle. Very hard to use. The loft had a traditional showerhead, but the bathroom had no door on it. Summary: It is a nice, clean hotel with great views. It happened to be that we came when it was much hotter than normal. I think if they ensure the rooms have fans available this would make it more amenable for American tourists who are used to A/C with even a $100/night room. At the time of this writing, the rooms around around $400/night. If the cons are a non-issue, I say go for it.

Yelp
We made a last-minute decision to go to Verbier and found this hotel. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast has many different choices and is included. The hotel bar is very roomy and the couches are extremely comfortable! The drinks are also very generous and yummy. The shuttle are so fast and everyone was so friendly and informative. The ski lockers were very convenient. Love the town and the hotel was so close to everything. The only negative is the hot tub is indoors and very steamy. Otherwise a wonderful hotel.

Yelp
While most hotels in the world have a 48-hrs cancelation policy at most, these people have a 3 weeks cancelation policy. Getting there requires changing 2 trains, then taking a 40 year old cable car (freeze with your entire luggage) for 20 minutes or pay $600 taxi ride round trip, which they won't tell you NONE about when you make a reservation, by the way, if you missed one train good luck, seriously nothing around. Overall: F On top of it I saw reviews with Bed bugs just beginning, they have untrained receptionist as concierge who cannot answer any questions the hotel want your American dollars while they act snob and superior, at $600 a night they won't even help you make a reservation in other restaurants but theirs
