Stayed here for several nights this summer and ended up trying a few of their rooms, as we had booked last minute and there was not one room available over the time frame that we needed it.
Overall, I love the charm of this hotel. Vines cover the muted, pink buildings, that feel like they've been there for decades. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Wifi was very spotty and it was difficult to get much work done, but c'est la vie as I was on vacation anyway.
Location, location, location! This hotel is in the heart of the village and in walking distance to the port, fabulous restuarants and excellent shopping.
The pool is beautiful, but was always full and therefore we were never able to use it. There were not many chairs and they were always occupied by a young family first thing in the morning.
Each room is unique. some have views, some have balconies. The hotel is quite noisy due to the stone floors and its old age. This made it a little difficult to sleep in a few of the mornings. They have Bvlgari products in the bathrooms, which a nice luxurious touch. There were two concierge. The main concierge we found to be very rude and it almost felt like we were asking a huge favor of him anytime we asked for a lunch or dinner booking. The other concierge, who I believe would stand in for the main, was much more friendly, helpful and personable.
They do not offer a shuttle to the beaches until July, which is unfortunate as we were there in June and that could have been quite useful.
