Gorgeous boutique hotel with lovely rooms and plenty of places to sit inside or outside. Great location.||Drinks and snacks are available to buy but they don’t make this clear when you arrive. They could do a better job of explaining you get a welcome drink and how to order extras.||The breakfast is the thing which stops me giving 5 stars. The food is ok but nothing special compared with other boutique hotels on our trip. The coffee which is provided is undrinkable - sitting in an urn for you to help yourself. It is possible to order good coffee - espresso cappuccino etc but they charge. I’ve never before been charged for coffee with breakfast. I mentioned this at check out but got charged anyway. ||Management needs to improve the coffee and the check in communication. Shame it let down what was otherwise a fabulous hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with 5 star service. Located close to downtown but quite a few blocks. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and large. Robes and slippers were provided. Upon check in we were offered fresh coffee which was brought to us in their beautiful library area. The grounds were so beautiful, wish we had more time to spend here. Breakfast was top notch. A great buffet set up with eggs made to order. Everything was delicious.

We had a splendid stay at Legado Mitico. The rooms, both the bedroom and communal areas, were spacious and calm, as well as beautifully decorated. All of the staff were charming, but a special mention must go to Rodrigo on the front desk, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed juice, eggs to order and the most delicious pastries. Would highly recommend.

The best hotel in Salta! We stayed 2 nights in November 2025. The rooms are very large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. An oasis of peace and calm in the busy city. Perfect location, close to everything. Highly recommended! 100%

This is a nice hotel with old world charm.||The room was large but very creaky floorboards when you go to the bathroom in the night!|Shower water pressure varied hugely daily, with the last day being difficult to use it was so low.||Breakfast was continental and beautifully presented, you could ask for eggs to be cooked to order too from a very nice chef.||Location was good for the city.

From the moment you walk in, you know you are staying somewhere special. The warm welcome included a glass of wine which we enjoyed in the beautiful library. The included breakfast provided several options and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location- amazing staff.

The Legado Mitico is an elegant family run boutique Hotel in Salta. Gayle and I also stayed at their Hotel in the Palermo area of Buenos Aires. It's a short walk to the main square and our host at the Front Desk was very helpful with suggestions on things to see and where to have Lunch and later Dinner. We stayed in the El Gaucho Room, which was very roomy and had a nice balcony overseeing the Courtyard. If you don't want to stay in your room, the Legado Mitico offers some fabulous common spaces, both inside and the courtyard outside. Regarding the later, we hung out on a sunny early evening, each with a glass of wine, and thought: This is the Life. Inside also features the breakfast room, which featured strong hot coffee and a nice selection of breakfast selections. The other interior rooms have a combination living room and library feel, with comfy furniture and some interesting regional art. It all had the feel of staying in family mansion. Gayle and I slept very well here and appreciated the good shower and strong Wi-fi. Our only regret is that we were only here one night.

This beautiful little hotel has lots of luxury amenities including (at least for our room) a private patio, heated towels, and a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. The hotel has a plant-filled internal patio as well as an interesting sitting area to lounge about in. It is not far to the main square. Most important, the staff are super friendly and dedicated to your comfort. Highly recommend.
