Legado Mitico Salta, Salta, Argentina - Explore & Book

"Sister hotel to Legado Mitico Palermo in Buenos Aires, this chic hotel has the air of a discreet private club, from the elegant grey townhouse façade to the impeccably restored antique furniture and Persian rugs. But there’s nothing stuffy about the welcome here: the friendly staff are genuinely delighted to help, and the service is personalised and attentive.Salta has long needed a luxurious small hotel, and what’s so pleasing about this hideaway is that it bucks the trend for anonymous business hotels in the city. Cleverly reworked from an old school house by the architect owners, its rooms are stylish yet ooze original salteño artefacts (locally made handicrafts, restored antiques and original paintings), creating a strong local identity in a culturally-rich region. Exceptionally spacious interiors convey instant calm, inspiring you to refresh and relax before setting off on remote adventures in the dramatic landscapes of Salta and Jujuy. And, lying just 5 blocks away from the main plaza, this is perfectly located for exploring the city’s beautiful colonial architecture and wonderful museums. Highs The 11 stylish rooms are each themed around a famous local figure, giving a strong sense of this area’s rich cultureThe vast rooms all come with desks and some private outdoor space (even in the lower price categories)This is a small, exclusive hotel and the stylish public spaces are shared between just a few guests - perfect for relaxingLegado Mítico's huge and sultry bathrooms are in a league of their own, with toiletries to match Lows Few of the rooms have far-reaching views and most face onto the large internal patio (or a private patio in the Lujo category). Even the street-facing rooms, which have views towards Cerro San Bernado, require you to first overlook the rather uninspiring car park oppositeThis is a small hotel, so there's no pool or gym You may find the service in the evenings lacks the charm and efficiency you’ll experience during the daytime" - Christabelle Dilks

Legado Mitico Salta (Salta, Argentina) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"When it comes to stylish boutique hotels in Argentina’s rural northwest, there’s not a lot of competition, so a place like Legado Mitico may seem like a bit of overkill. But its architect owners honed their craft in Buenos Aires, where fashionable small hotels are thick on the ground, and their expertise is on display here, in what is essentially a concept hotel — each room pays a subtle homage to a major figure in Argentine history." - Tablet Hotels

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with 5 star service. Located close to downtown but quite a few blocks. Rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and large. Robes and slippers were provided. Upon check in we were offered fresh coffee which was brought to us in their beautiful library area. The grounds were so beautiful, wish we had more time to spend here. Breakfast was top notch. A great buffet set up with eggs made to order. Everything was delicious.

From the moment you walk in, you know you are staying somewhere special. The warm welcome included a glass of wine which we enjoyed in the beautiful library. The included breakfast provided several options and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location- amazing staff.

This lovely hotel in Salt had great access to the city. The staff were exceptional—so helpful and kind throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful, though it lacked tea-making facilities. However, the staff happily made tea and coffee for us upon request, with no fuss at all. The hotel itself was beautifully furnished, with many interesting artifacts to admire.||We drove here and were able to park right outside, but there was also plenty of space on the street. Additionally, a petrol station was conveniently located about 100 meters down the road. Overall, a wonderful stay

The hotel is in a lovely and charming old building with vintage furniture, big courtyards and balconies. Phillipe spoke fluent English and arranged food, drinks and restaurant recommendations.

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The staff are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Particular kudos to Felipe and Federico. But all the others we met also were wonderful, we just didn’t get their names. The rooms and common areas are exquisite, including the lovely outdoor patio. We enjoyed tea and wine in that tranquil space on our last night there. The beds are comfortable, and the amenities are high-end. Breakfast has a large variety and eggs can be made to order. The restaurant recommendation to José Barcace Bistro was spot-on. I would gladly stay here whenever in Salta!

A very good boutique hotel. The service was kind and attentive, they genuinely seemed to care. My room for the 1st night was very large but overlooked the road and was a little noisy. They moved me to another room at the back for the 2nd and 3rd nights, which was better with a small balcony, but rather dark.Breakfast was ok. 1 night due to low occupancy there was no buffet but a la carte. Bit disappointing. I’m not sure overall it offered value for the price I paid, but nonetheless it is a very nice hotel

Quirky, cosy hotel, and well situated for Salta's main tourist attractions.|Our room was comfortable and clean, but had no tea or coffee making facilities. (We were given a free glass of wine on arrival.) However, the code for reading about our room, which was dedicated to a local musician was only available in Spanish - very frustrating.|Very helpful reception and breakfast adequate.

Yelp
The Legado Mitico is an elegant family run boutique Hotel in Salta. Gayle and I also stayed at their Hotel in the Palermo area of Buenos Aires. It's a short walk to the main square and our host at the Front Desk was very helpful with suggestions on things to see and where to have Lunch and later Dinner. We stayed in the El Gaucho Room, which was very roomy and had a nice balcony overseeing the Courtyard. If you don't want to stay in your room, the Legado Mitico offers some fabulous common spaces, both inside and the courtyard outside. Regarding the later, we hung out on a sunny early evening, each with a glass of wine, and thought: This is the Life. Inside also features the breakfast room, which featured strong hot coffee and a nice selection of breakfast selections. The other interior rooms have a combination living room and library feel, with comfy furniture and some interesting regional art. It all had the feel of staying in family mansion. Gayle and I slept very well here and appreciated the good shower and strong Wi-fi. Our only regret is that we were only here one night.

Yelp
This beautiful little hotel has lots of luxury amenities including (at least for our room) a private patio, heated towels, and a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. The hotel has a plant-filled internal patio as well as an interesting sitting area to lounge about in. It is not far to the main square. Most important, the staff are super friendly and dedicated to your comfort. Highly recommend.
