Overall the hotel is clean and fine for a one-night stay, but my experience was very disappointing. I mistakenly booked two rooms with one person each, and while I accepted paying the extra 3000 kr, I was given a room at the end of the corridor that felt sub-standard. The shower was on a timer (like a public gym) and barely dribbled water, there was no toilet roll holder, and the WiFi didn’t work at all. If you get this room, ask to be moved immediately.
What made it worse is that while I paid extra, I wasn’t given the same standard of room as the others with a working shower and WiFi. Breakfast was served in another building and was very basic — just enough to fill you up.
The location is nice and waking up to see horses outside the window is lovely, but the hotel really needs to refurbish its rooms properly and be honest with guests if they’re being put into a below-standard room.
