Rooms are nice and the hotel is clean. Although my wife booked the room and we had to ask for a change since they have 2 buildings which they don’t specify so be careful when booking. The only helpful staff was the Waiter/Host/Receptionist who checked us in. Other than that if you don’t speak fluent french you’re looked down upon. One of the employees was incredibly rude to my wife, just for asking a simple question. Which is ironic if you think of Bastogne claim to world fame. Will definitely visit Bastogne again but will look for other accommodations

A lovely hotel situated in the centre of Bastogne. The rooms are well decorated and clean. There is parking at the rear of the hotel, although I would recommend getting directions to the parking before you arrive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was sparkling wine on offer at check in (which after a four hour drive, was very welcome).

Where to begin? I really wish it had been a better experience. The photos they show are nothing like what we found, and this should definitely be explained on the website, as there are two completely different buildings. We had to walk up four flights of stairs because there’s no elevator. The room I originally booked looked like it hadn’t been maintained since 1983. My husband tried adjusting the temperature in the room and the little control panel literally came off the wall. The hair dryer barely worked, and the humidity smell was very strong. We decided to go down to reception and request an upgrade because it was definitely not the room we needed. Fortunately, the receptionist helped us switch to another building and another room, which was completely different from the first one. He even told us that “this always happens, many guests end up changing buildings and rooms for that same reason,” which means it's a frequent issue — so be careful when booking. Regarding the service: I understand that we were in an area where English is not the main language, but the minimum a hotel employee should know is basic English. We speak Spanish and English, and it would have been very helpful if the staff spoke at least some English. That being said, the housekeeper assigned to our room was extremely rude. I asked her if we could go into our room since she had just finished cleaning and the floor was still wet. When I approached her and asked (in English) if we could enter, she said “no English” and started speaking in French. I respectfully told her, “I’m sorry, I didn’t understand a word you said — English or Spanish?” She shrugged her shoulders in a very dismissive way, practically ignoring me. I tried asking again, and she kept speaking in French. The only person who was truly kind was the lady in charge of breakfast — and she actually spoke English. Breakfast was very good, and I think that’s the reason why I’m giving 3 stars. I was between giving 2 or 3 stars, but I definitely wouldn’t give 4 or 5. They really need to improve their service and clarify the differences between the hotel and the annex building.

We were tired from hours of driving when we arrived in the afternoon, not too keen on finding out the big parking lot across the hotel was closed off for a concert 🙈 Luckily, the beautiful room and a walk around Bastogne shifted our mood. We opted for dinner at the adjoining Brasserie - it was busy, had an open-kitchen concept, and the meal (lobster pasta and T-bone steak) was divine! Too full for desserts, we ended the meal with cocktails. Soon after, the pat'light parade started, and we had the perfect room to watch it from. After the parade, a concert thumped away until 2.30 am. - oddly not too bad. Breakfast was held on a floating story just over the Brasserie - large variety of breads, rolls, warm breakfast foods, and cold cuts. You could squeeze your own orange juice, choose various fresh cut fruits, and top it all off with sweet tarts and pastries. It's definitely a place to visit again! (And also, it turns out there's a big parking lot behind the hotel!)

Amazing hotel on the square. The breakfast is very fulfilling and had a lot of options. Rooms are spacious with heated bathroom floors and large showers. Waking distance to several museums and the many local restaurants. The downstairs restaurant was the perfect ending of a full day exploring, with wine and dessert. The service was always top notch and accomidating. This will be the hotel I recommend to friends and family.

Great updated rooms in the main hotel - I avoid all annexes. Everything sparkling clean and new. Restaurant food was terrific! Definitely the best hotel and restaurant( albeit expensive) in town. Parking in the back and you won’t know about it until you check in. They should describe the parking location when you make a reservation so you don’t have to pay in a public parking spot and then repark.

Annex rooms dirty, tired & under equipped: no kettle, hairdryer, only one bedside table. There was a phone - but it wasn't plugged into anything. The safe was locked when we arrived, so useless. Stench of stale cigarette smoke. Stained shower curtain. Ridiculously soft mattresses which weren't made up properly. Fine if cheap, but it wasn't.

Lovely hotel in the main square of Bastogne. The room was beautiful and clean with everything we needed including a spa bath! The breakfast was lovely, an all you can eat buffet! We had a meal in the restaurant sitting in a railway carriage, super! The food was delicious and service fantastic. 10/10
