Rarely has the location on Google maps been so wrong. The hotel appeared to be at the crossroads in the centre of the town. It is in fact at the top of a steep hill, which was a shock after cycling 50 miles that day. All the school children were a bit of a surprise but not an issue. I was glad that my mealtimes happened to be at a different time to theirs. My room was nice and quiet and had a good view of the river from its balcony.. If I'd read the reviews beforehand I would have known about its use for school holiday camps but it wouldn't have put me off. Also rather liked the slightly faded 1970s feel !

Very impressive socialistic structure and only real hotel in town near the djerdap, but run down to a poor level. Should be preserved and reconstructed as 4* hotel by a potent investment fund. Excellent location beyond river danube with stunning view. It is mislocated in maps and there are no signs pointing to it. Unvisible from the main road. Stay in current state: It is cheap, declares itself as **, clean rooms to a simple standard, bed quality doubtful. Service is bad, cause except in reception, they demand serbian language, no english. In the restaurant I was demanded to talk italian: io palare un po italiano. For the included breakfast you have to buy your coffee upstairs at the bar. the rest of the breakfast is needless. In the shop they wanted to sell me beer at 8 a.m. cause I look like an alcoholic. But I wanted water.

Stayed in the middle of August 2020. + Big hotel, lot of space; good location; quiet surroundings, above the city; swimming pool - Old hotel, not so clean rooms and old furniture, renovation needed. Almost impossible to ventilate the toilet. Not enough towel rails. Slippery tiles around the pool pose a great risk. Great view on the Danube from higher rooms at that side. Returning uphill to the hotel can be tiring. Enough food of solid quality and average choice (half board service), but satisfying for the price. Nice surroundings. The hotel hosts a lot of children's sports clubs, but they are mostly located on the lower floors and do not bother too much due to the size of the hotel. The pool was sometimes crowded, but even then it was possible to swim. Mostly nice staff. At that time it was good value for money. I have noticed that in 2021, staying is about 20% more expensive.

Very nice place in nature, beautiful surroundings and we had a very nice view from the room on the Danube river and mountains. The room is ok - small and cozy, the bed was comfortable enough but a little bit small. The breakfast was not good at all, but if you are very hungry you will find something to eat.. The hotel is old-fashioned in communist style of Yugoslavia, renovated superficial and I liked the halls - in Zig Zag. It has 2 small terraces with nice view, a room for breakfast, main restaurant - big like a canteen, and a smaller quite pretty bar-restaurant.

This hotel definitely has a 1980s college dorm feel, minus bunk beds. The TV was a circa 1985 CRT. |On a better note, it had a working refrigerator and wifi worked fine, including for watching videos. |The location is fine with Danube views from some rooms.

Good and decent hotel, renovated, extremely helpful and professional staff. The hotel is located in a beautiful place, around the hotel is formed a specific micro climate that allows an exceptional stay and recovery and rest of the whole organism. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is located in the beautiful town of Donji Milanovac, the locals are wonderful and friendly people who you will enjoy talking to, you will also enjoy wonderful local food in restaurants in the city, all at affordable prices. In addition, the hotel has many historical sites, and I would like to draw your attention to the beautiful nature and the unique Danube River. Come and enjoy! Recommendation for everyone!

The hotel is a large but cozy, with beautiful view of the Danube, but unfortunately empty ...||Witness some of last socialist era, but it would be much more comfortable to have more guests. All services are very modest, rooms are clean though. Price for bed & breakfast is very good, about 15 euros (1813 rsd) in total per person, which makes it the cheapest hotel in this part of Serbia. Be sure to visit the archaeological site Lepenski vir, ticket price is about 2.5 euros (300 rsd).

I've booked one night stay at the hotel as a Birthday surprise present for my husband. He wanted to stay in Lepenski Vir Hotel for its history and as a location for a few classic Yugoslavian films. It still has the spirit. There is a space for the improvement but the staff of all ages super friendly and helpful. Spotless clean. Gorgeous views from the balcony to the river Danube. Safe and welcoming Donji Milanovac. Big thank you to Jovana, Jovanka, Tijana and all staff at the hotel spa, the hotel bar and restaurant. We stayed an extra night then planned. You made our stay amazing. We'll be back!
