Loved it! Amazing view! 😍 Friendly and such good vibes. The garden looks lovely from the hotel. So many happy colors! (flowers) 🌷 I can highly recommend this place for enjoying sea view with champagne 🥂 Ps. behind this hotel you find a great pad for a nice walk.

The gentle sound of waves on the beach was the first things we noticed when we awoke from a good night's sleep in an exceptionally comfortable bed. We opened the window to a breath-taking view of the sea and watched the sun rise. Walking into the restaurant continued the process of waking all our senses. The lovely room was a breath of summer in January. The white linens and perfectly placed table settings were accented with rough baskets of heavenly fresh French breads, bowls of colorful fruit, and steaming pots of tea and coffee. We chatted over breakfast as we enjoyed the view of the sea. Our host was professionally attentive as well as warm and inviting. Incredible walking paths were suggested and we took advantage of the opportunity to shake off the typical weariness from traveling and hike along beaches and cliffs. There is a lot to see driving through small villages in the area and in Cherbourg. We would have like to spend more time than two days and nights. Back at the hotel, there are many interesting books near the beautiful stone fireplace that I want to read. It is my intention to return soon, and do just that!

We had 3 fantastic days at the hotel. The room was lovely. We booked late and had a garden room but it was lovely. The terrace is a lovely place to breakfast and enjoy the view. Nicholas is a great host. We found the attention to detail superb and nothing was too much trouble. The area is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

I was lucky enough to chose this fantastic small hotel for a 2 night stay over my birthday. It's set in a very pretty corner of Normandy with a perfect small harbour (Port Racine) directly bellow the hotel. The owners & staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable with a window open directly onto the coast, with it's view been so stunning it's hard to tear yourself away day or night... Below is a terrace where you can enjoy afternoon tea, evening drinks & even breakfast if the weather is good enough. Breakfast, from 8:30am, with no end time.. is excellent with a basket of local baked pastries & and freshly squeezed juice a couple of the highlights.||We ate out at a couple of excellent well priced restaurants a few km's away- Le Racine in Saint- Germain-des-Vaux & Le Malle aux Epices in Auderville. It would be worth booking on a Friday or Saturday evening as the choice of good places to eat in this corner of France is quite slim.

The owners were kind enough to facilitate an arrival after midnight. I woke up to a view that will keep me enchanted for months to come. Breakfast after a quiet comfortable night was a delight. What made this 5 stars apart from the view... have I mentioned the view? was Nicolas (the owner)'s kind attention to my needs and willingness to share the sheer delight of the community';s life around France's smallest port. I simply can not wait to go back.

The hotel overlooks Port Racine, the smallest port in France, and also a beautiful bay and pastures. It's unique. The scenery around the hotel is so beautiful it's mesmerizing. I gazed at the view from my room, my breakfast table, and the terrace, where I enjoyed late afternoon drinks (the bar opens at 4pm--it may be open earlier, but I was out exploring). As I was there in early spring, I don't know about the hotel's summer hours.||I had reserved one night and stayed for four and loved every minute. I would have stayed longer but that meant I'd have extra charges for my auto rental and train ticket and hassles with my plane reservation. ||Nicolas Chanu the owner was like a friend. He advised the best itineraries for my daily excursions to ancient villages, museums, Vauville Gardens, and a selection of good restaurants in the area. ||This is my favorite hotel. Ever!!!

A true gem located in the tip of Normandy. Stayed there during 2 nights and we enjoyed every moment. A warm welcoming by the owner, charming room with a stunning sea view, comfortable bed and nice and modern bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, made with fresh and local products and the Afternoon Tea is a must if you are into pastries. Can nothing but recommend this pearl and already looking forward to return.

We stay there for 4 nights and it was great. The rooms are small but most have a view towards the ocean. The rooms are clean. There is no restaurant in the hotel but a bar which serves pastries, beverages and coffee and tea from 16:30 to 19:30 in the evening. When the sun is suing you can sit on a terrace and enjoy the great view.
