6 Best Hotels in Dubrovnik (Updated 2025)

"Built around a relaxing outdoor pool in the less-touristy Montovjerna neighborhood, Hotel Lero is an inviting four-star with spacious rooms overlooking the Adriatic that feature unique décor and design touches like colorful art or murals. I appreciated amenities such as air conditioning, minibars, coffeemakers, satellite TV, and large wardrobes; bathrooms are simple but have great water pressure, plush bathrobes, and some rooms include both a bathtub and a shower. There are several fantastic restaurants on site — including a poolside bar, an award-winning Bosnian restaurant, and a Mediterranean restaurant — and a complimentary daily breakfast buffet with plenty of options for all diets." - Matthew Kepnes

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lero . It’s a well located hotel with car parking facilities as well as a bus stop directly outside. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The friendly and attentive staff made our stay feel comfortable and relaxing. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out. They have a good buffet breakfast which is included in the price. One of the highlights was the sauna and spa area. It was beautifully maintained and offered the perfect place to relax and unwind. Truly a great addition that elevated the whole experience. We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, hassle free visit at a reasonable price !

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was nice and comfortable, the room had everything I needed, and the breakfast was great. The front office team was super sweet and helpful. You can walk to the Old Town in about 15 minutes or take a quick bus ride. A special highlight was the classic massage from Tea at Nava Spa, located inside the hotel, highly recommended! She really knows how to work the muscles so they relax and heal properly. One of the best massages I’ve ever had.

Hotel staff members were all very helpful, from getting porridge for breakfast, advice for transport around the city or the hotel facilities. We got unexpectedly upgraded to a bigger room, that was very, very comfortable. They went an extra mile and supplied the birthday treat without prompting. The variety of choices for breakfast was great. The food in the bar was very tasty. The spa facilities - indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam, were really good, and provided the relaxing ambience. Walk to and from Old City was not long, and it provided an opportunity to see Dubrovnik from various angles.|With extra charge for usage of the spa facilities we wouldn't use it every day of our stay.

Hotel Lero Is located on the Lapad Peninsula, about 3 km away from Old Town Dubrovnik. Our room and en suite were spacious, comfortable, and clean.|They do offer a good breakfast buffet in a large dining room. Upon arrival we found out that you can also book half or full board, meaning lunch and/or dinner with your room for an additional 30 Euros per meal. However. based on our experience, if you did not book this extra service in advance. chances are the hotel cannot/will not accommodate you. This may be, because it caters more to large tour groups. This fact may also mean that even at 7:00 o'clock in the morning. when the breakfast buffet opens. there can already be a sizable crowd in a rush to eat in order to make their respective tour departure times.|In the hotel's Piano Bar, you can order from a limited a la carte menu morning till 10:00 at night. If you do not fancy bar food you best look for a restaurant elsewhere. The outside patio of the Piano Bar is nice, weather permitting. On the inside there are only a few tables for eating, and the lounging chairs and tables are a bit low for comfortable eating. Consequently, we ordered our food to go and took it to our room.|The hotel lounge/seating area is located next to the reception area, between the entry to the Piano Bar, the elevators, and immediately adjacent to the path between the Piano Bar and the kitchen which is heavily used by the bar’s waiter staff to transport food and empty dishes on carts, which does not necessarily make for a relaxing space to spend some leisure time.|Overall, Hotel Lero is a nice enough hotel, but we stayed in much better 4-star hotels in Dubrovnik and along the Dalmatian Coast for the money.

Daily review: I highly recommend this 4star hotel. To all tourists around the globe 🌍 please visit/book directly to their hotel website for more details. The hotel caters breakfast and halfboard service. Firstly, thank you very much for the upgraded room to a spacious . Cleaning and tidying up every day🙏🏽👌❤️ 2. Freshly made various dishes BUT (WATER SHOULD BE FREE) Foods are very tasty & can be salty at times. You can also sense the taste of Filipino cuisine (grilled chicken) too. 3. Today is my birthday 🎁 and having a cake, greetings and plates in our room made my day extra special, how thoughtful of you hotel lero. 4. @Just a little recommendation, as this is our first time to encounter in a 4-star halfboard where there was no free (tap water/bottled) water should be free for all during meal time, for business to thrive and lead to be more profitable and productive. Staff are focused on selling water 🤔 Last but not the least, please do not advertise to third party agent regarding the small room for 3adult. To prevent clients disappointment and perhaps bad review. Forever grateful Lee Roberts And the group Rm 371

Excellent staff support — special thanks to Giulia, who helped us with our room, city pass booking, and other attractions. All the staff are very friendly. The room is spacious, clean, and odor-free. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious, with a good variety of options. The hotel is well located, just 10 minutes by bus from the Old Town. There are a few free parking spots available, but if you can’t find one, paid parking costs €25 per day.

Friendly and welcoming staff who really appreciated our attempts to greet and thank them in Croatian. Katarina who greeted us with a smile each morning is a great example of this. House keeping were excellent too. The reception staff were always on hand to deal with our questions. Breakfast was a delight and certainly set us up for the day. The TERRA restaurent provided good food at what we considered affordable prices. The rooms were clean and the showers had a good supply of hot water. I would recommend Hotel Lero to anyone😁I forgot to mention the selection of food in the the Piano Bar that was part of the hotel. Fantastic food and just right for evening meals

Stayed 3 nights last week. Staff very helpful. Hotel very clean. Booked half board. Breakfast and dinner buffet were very good, plenty of choice. 2hrs in spa for €25 was excellent value. Great location with a nice 25 min walk to the Old Town. Bus stop just outside hotel for return journey
