Hotel Lero Is located on the Lapad Peninsula, about 3 km away from Old Town Dubrovnik. Our room and en suite were spacious, comfortable, and clean.|They do offer a good breakfast buffet in a large dining room. Upon arrival we found out that you can also book half or full board, meaning lunch and/or dinner with your room for an additional 30 Euros per meal. However. based on our experience, if you did not book this extra service in advance. chances are the hotel cannot/will not accommodate you. This may be, because it caters more to large tour groups. This fact may also mean that even at 7:00 o'clock in the morning. when the breakfast buffet opens. there can already be a sizable crowd in a rush to eat in order to make their respective tour departure times.|In the hotel's Piano Bar, you can order from a limited a la carte menu morning till 10:00 at night. If you do not fancy bar food you best look for a restaurant elsewhere. The outside patio of the Piano Bar is nice, weather permitting. On the inside there are only a few tables for eating, and the lounging chairs and tables are a bit low for comfortable eating. Consequently, we ordered our food to go and took it to our room.|The hotel lounge/seating area is located next to the reception area, between the entry to the Piano Bar, the elevators, and immediately adjacent to the path between the Piano Bar and the kitchen which is heavily used by the bar’s waiter staff to transport food and empty dishes on carts, which does not necessarily make for a relaxing space to spend some leisure time.|Overall, Hotel Lero is a nice enough hotel, but we stayed in much better 4-star hotels in Dubrovnik and along the Dalmatian Coast for the money.
