We stayed in a twin room. I wouldn't name this place a hotel. The toilette and shower both in a 2x1 cube with no separate ventilation and a sliding door ( so it doesnt even close properly). It is so small you cannot move in it without hitting your head or sth. The bed was also really narrow and uncomfortable. It was definitely not worth the price we paid (80 euro per night!!).

TLDR: Neither the Area, nor the room is and feels safe, rotten walls and thin doors not worth the money! The first thing we noticed was the surrounding area. I immediately thought to myself that I would not be comfortable with me or my girlfriend being alone out in the dark. Not even the two of us together felt safe at around 7pm, when we arrived. The hotel as a whole smelled really bad and our room which was at the highest floor did too... Even worse. It was so hot in our room that we immediately started sweating and there was just a fan to cool a little bit down. The fan however sounded broken and was so loud, we switched it off after 2 Minutes. The door seperating our room from the hallway was as thin as paper and everyone who knew a bit of how to break in could have opened that door with ease. The other one that led to the "balcony" didnt close without having to lock it and the balcony itself was horrible. The tiles on the floor moved as we... climed out i want to say(it was 20cm higher that the rest of the room and the door couldn't be fully opened bc. Of random chairs...) and the walls were clearly rotting from the outside, it was disgusting. The thing that sealed the deal for us was the connected balcony that didnt belong to the hotel. These two were not seperated at all and we were scared somebody could climb onto our balcony at night. In the end we stayed at the nearby IBIS Hotel which was great!

I have been to this hotel for 2 nights last october.||Perfect location, just few steps away from "Le carre" where there are restaurants and bars and from the historical centre.||In addition, it is very close to the train station Liege Carre,||Room was super clean. Basic (but with everything you need) and nice, I got a room on the top floor with terrace. ||Bathroom a little small, as other people said it is not really a separated room but for me it was ok and I think that for sure for short stays it is not an issue.||The family who run this hotel is friendly and kind and they really do their best to let the people have a good stay (and the reception is open 24h!)||Good prices!||Good breakfast with wide choices.||I am happy I chose this hotel and for short stays I sincerely recommend it!

I was just stopping in Liege for the night, as I had a ticket to see the local football team. The hotel is located just of one of the main streets in Liege centre. The number 4 Bus took me up from the train station. It's about a 20 min walk from station if you have time, but the tourist office in the train station is very helpful. The hotel is just off one of the main streets with plenty of good food and drink options near by. The Temple Bar Irish Bar is a 2 minutes walk away, which is popular choice for a drink in the city centre. The staff were very welcoming on my arrival and departure. You also have the option of food and a small bar in the hotel. My room was cosy and clean with a pleasant balcony, overlooking Liege. Highly recommend for a solo visit. The football culture was also excellent, so I'd definitely go back and stay here again.

Overall: basic, but sufficient + clean towels every day + location is at the start of the centre (in between centre and station) + balcony - room was a non-smoking room, but the whole building smelled like sigarettes.

The location is perfect/in the centre of Liège 👌They have a closed garage if you reserve a place for your car (10€ per night) at first. This is really luxury: so you can walk easily to every restaurant/shop/spot in this very crowded city everyday 👍 Breakfast costs 10€ which is easy for yourself every morning. They give you a pancake as an extra 😄 My room was okay, parking my roadbike in my room was allowed. I promised to keep the room clean with that 👍 The man said to me: you may sleep with your bike hahaha 😂 he was so funny! (elevator is in this hotel) The double bed felt good, the bathroom was small, but you should realize this is a small cozy/lovely "warm" hotel. I got the feeling that I was in Paris ❤️ Especially everybody in this region Wallonia speak French. And this hotel is run by a family 24/7. The front door is closed, means high safety for the hotel guests 💪 Ring their bell if you want to come in. Extra impression: their daughter is doing the work/service for you with her heart, with her beautiful smile everytime. In Dutch 🇳🇱 we say: "ze doet het werk met liefde". On the last day I went to the centre and bought the famous waffles, which I gave it to her/them when I finally... left the hotel, going back to Amsterdam. *impressed* Yee Tak Lam

This hotel i sreally good, in center of Liege, not too fancy but functional and there is a warm welcome. ||The personnel is really nice and very helpful. ||It was just a one night stay but this was very pleasant. Beds are comfortable and rooms are well isolated.||I recommend the hotel: perfect for a short stay in center of Liège.
