I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my husband and daughter. Initially we had only booked the room for my husband and myself however my daughter who is studying at university nearby was able to get some extra time off. The hotel were very accommodating and were more than willing to make up an extra bed so she could join us. The hotel is quite small and has a lovely tranquil ambience to it. The staff work very hard and keep the hotel very clean and tidy and the gardens and walkways are all immaculately maintained . The pool area was also a lovely quiet area to relax and towels were also provided . Our room was cleaned daily and the lovely orchids placed in the room was a welcome feature. The buffet breakfast was very plentiful with plenty of choice for all. |The location of the hotel is ideal and the beach was really close. The local shops are a short stroll away. The main coast road was very accessible. |All in all this hotel was a great start to our holiday.

Great location, decent price compared to nearby hotels but the rest wasn't worth more than 3 stars rating here. Rooms are very noisy (road noise is loud, late incomers / early outcomers can be heard and awake you from nearby rooms) and ours lacked cleaning when we arrived (stairs were sticky, some suspicious spots on the couch). Otherwise it was ok. About service quality, for some reason there was a lot of snobbery from "white" employees which barely said Hello to you whereas the Creole employees (atleast I guess so?) with tanned skin were very professional and likable : good job to them. Breakfast was quite expensive compared to what is available, and having to pay 7€ per day for the hotel inner parking didn't felt great but somehow mandatory with a rental car. We expected much more from this hotel, it was neither awful nor good but just OK overall.

Hotel: Beautifully situated in walking distance to town (15min) and beach (10min), very beautiful garden and pool, birds, nature. We had a room directly at the parking space, which we feared would be noisy; but which wasn´t. We were disturbed neither by the parking cars nor by the national road behind the parking space. There isn´t too much traffic at all.||Room: Very spacy, nicely furnished, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchenette, quite clean. One single minus: Several cockroaches (5-6 within three weeks) dropped from the air condition into the room. But we suppose one can´t really avoid them totally on a tropical island.||Staff: Very friendly, always smiling, always helpful||Food: We can´t tell, as we booked without meals||St. Gilles: Ideal for us: Fantastic beach for snorkeling, nice little stores (Chez Loulou have the best Samoussas we ever tasted; The Balinese offers a delicious choice of meals to take away for small money (5-7€) around noon. Possibility to book outdoor activities of all kind (riding, canyoning, fishing, helicopter flights, turtle watching....). Not too much nightlife, but some quite nice bars.||La Reunion: Paradise for hikers, lovers of nature, lovers of breathtaking landscapes BUT: You should not mind getting up before sunrise. The clouds will cover all the fantastic panoramas by noon at the very latest. And you shouldn´t come there for a beach holiday. You can´t swim in the ocean. Either there is the risk of sharks or there are corals everywhere, so you can´t swim more than a few meters before hitting your hands and feet. On the other hand you can see all kinds of fish living in the corals which we enjoyed much more than swimming itself.||||Conclusion: Great holidays, great place, great people! We will definitely come again. Thank you very much for all!

I am very happy I found this place when looking to stay in the Saint Gilles area. The rooms were standard, which is what we expected based on the price. The swimming pool is a good size and very refreshing. It is located a couple of minutes away from the main area of Saint Gilles, but we had a rental car, so it was no big deal at all. Above all the staff were exceptional. When we ran into some issues with our helicopter tour, they were very helpful in getting it sorted out and we were very grateful that they were there. ||||If we are ever lucky to visit Reunion again, we would definitely not hesitate to stay here.

5 mins walk from the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful swimming area. I rated it only 4 star because the kitchenette is equipped very basic, no sharp knife, no kettle and no plug for the sink yet you are expected to clean your own dishes. The rest of the hotel and room is 5 star. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Very friendly staff, nice hotel. Our room was very small and up 2 flights up stairs but I think this is because we stayed only 1 night and probably didn't get the best room. But the communal areas are nice and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool.||We didn't have the breakfast as we left very early so can't comment on that.||Only a 5 minute drive to the town which was fun to explore.||Very safe parking.

Great hotel and pool. Breakfast is served and snacks in the bar area by the pool at lunchtime but no restaurant. However they will arrange a delivery from the many restaurants around so you can dine on your own balcony overlooking the pool or you can walk 15 minutes to plenty of restaurants. Staff are super helpful and friendly and speak English. If you want more choice you can take a stroll to St Gilles Les Bains about 3 miles away along a pleasant road where there is surfing to watch, great bars, restaurants, shops etc.

This is a well organised, clean, helpfull, I formal hotel. Child Friendly and VERY helpfully, charming staff. This is a great Base to explore the island from and close to the swimming beaches and snorkling hot spots. Close to general dealers and central to the vibe of the island
