We stayed here for five days and had a great experience from the early check-in when we could access our room in the morning because our ferry arrived at 6:00 am 😱 (much appreciated!)|The hotel is elegant, cozy and sophisticated. It’s located close to the city center, it has a heated pool and a small private beach with view on the wonderful gulf.|There is also a restaurant with tables on the terrace.|Staff and housekeeping are impeccable, friendly, and efficient.|There is a small free parking, very handy because parking in Ajaccio is a nightmare. If you want to go to town you'd better walk or take a taxi but I wouldn't drive there.|They have high standards and our stay was very enjoyable.

Lovely hotel situated on the waterfront with lovely views of the town & bay. You will need a car or taxi to visit the old city as the hotel is on the other side of the bay.||When the weather is fine meals are served outside on the terrace next to the swimming pool. The pool was heated & very salty. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi. There is access to the hotel’s private beach. ||My guest room was old world European in decor. It was not large but very adequate. I had a private terrace overlooking the water with outdoor lounges & chairs. ||The bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms had a shower over the bathroom which is not the most convenient for some older people, it’s also slippery with the water very slow to drain. Need to be really careful. A non slip mat would be helpful.||There was TV but there were no English speaking stations. Wifi is available throughout. ||Breakfast is table service with a variety of hot & cold food. Dinner at the hotel was inventive & very tasty French cuisine. ||Unfortunately I found the female staff in the bar area & reception not very helpful & miserable. Service seemed to be an effort for them. But overall a nice place to stay if you ignore some of the staff’s arrogance.

The staff was friendly and courteous. Great breakfast on outdoor patio. Room was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our visit to Ajaccio. We walked everywhere from the hotel.

We stayed here on our last night in Corsica. Check-in and parking were a breeze and Cecilia made every effort to help us and show us around. The hotel is like going back in time, not dated, just seems like an old Hollywood or South of France hotel back in the 1950’s or 1960’s. The decor in the lobby was beautiful, the corner bar was quaint with a great assortment of liquors, beers, and wines, and the restaurant/swimming pool area were right on the sea with beautiful views of Ajaccio and the gulf. There is plenty of seating by the pool. Staff were attentive on getting drinks for us, if needed. The swimming pool was saltwater straight from|the gulf and warmed to a comfortable temperature. The jacuzzi was warm. |We had a small corner hotel room that was small but comfortable. The room was nice but may be due for a makeover soon. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was completely updated. The only two problems we could find were the bathtub had poor drainage and there was some hair on the floor from previous guests. Normally the hair on the floor would be an automatic one star deduction, but the rest of the hotel was just so awesome that it was hard for me to deduct a point here. |We didn’t have dinner here, we opted to walk to the old town, a 25 minute walk away. We did have the breakfast for 29 Euro, and it was fabulous. The breads, cheeses, meats, homemade yoghurt, omelettes, fruits were all fantastic and we didn’t have to eat another meal until dinner. Checkout was at 12 pm, wished we could have stayed longer before we departed to the airport. |Overall a wonderful stay.

Spent 3 nights at the Hotel Les Mouettes last week and can say this was the best hotel I've ever stayed at anywhere in the world. When we arrived, we were told we were upgraded from a privilege to a superior room and were stunned at how luxurious the superior room was. We had a bedroom, a living room, and large bathroom, and a huge outdoor terrace with a couch, table and chairs, and a queen size day bed with pillows and blankets. The common areas were beautiful and the whole hotel smelled great. There is a large saltwater pool with plenty of comfortable pool chairs and large umbrellas. The hotel also has a private beach with several soft lounge chairs and umbrellas that was really nice. We also ate at their restaurant A Terrazza for dinner and it was delicious with outstanding ocean views. The hotel is located about a 25-minute walk from the Maison Bonaparte and other locations in the historic neighborhoods of Ajaccio. This was not a problem and let us get some steps in along a nice stretch of the beach. We look forward to coming back here the next time we're in Ajaccio!

A gorgeous hotel outside of Ajaccio! The deluxe rooms were enormous, with exceptional views of the water, and highly recommended. The staff and service were excellent, and the location was close enough to walk into the old town, but far enough to also allow us to easily explore outside the city. The restaurant is fancy, french, and quite good as well.

Lovely setting right on the beach with nice large balconies to enjoy the view. The pool is nice and there is a little beach. The rooms are on the small side, but the bathrooms are nice and the balcony is fabulous (we had Room 18 with a huge balcony). There are some restaurants in about 10 to 15 min walk. The hotel also offers free parking. Breakfast at the hotel is served on the terrace for 30Euro/pp.|Dinner at the hotel is not recommended. It was the most expensive meal we had in our travels of 2 weeks and the most disappointing. |

Yelp
We had a brief 1-night stay in this historic property with 27 rooms, some, like ours with gorgeous sea views and patios. Located right on the water, it is possible to walk to the nondescript old town of Ajaccio in about 30 minutes by simply following the broad path along the sea. We were in room 27, which had a large patio, awesome undated bathroom, large living room plus another room with a king bed. So much space and all of it with killer views. A couple of bottles of water were provided along with high end bath amenities. Things to note: there is no elevator and many rooms are on the 2nd or third floor. Also there is an onsite gastronomy restaurant (I.e. artful food, foam and crazy high prices). While they claim a private beach, depending on the wind, waves and tides it might be only a few feet wide. Some of the staff spoke English but not everyone. Our stay was comfortable and I enjoyed an hour in the sun on our great patio and the amazing views although this stay was our most expensive by far given my splurge for one of the top rooms. In late September it was over 700€. Recommended
