Hotel Les Nuits (Antwerp, Belgium) 10 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"If we all know what a film noir looks like, then we can probably get away with extending the metaphor to hotels as well. Hotel Les Nuits is a Belgian noir hotel in Antwerp’s fashion district — which, though it’s not about to knock Paris off its perch in terms of commercial volume, is a genuine style capital, a fashionable, forward-looking and design-minded town." - Tablet Hotels

Hotel location is amazing. Rooms were not. Our room was located on 4th floor right next to the reception, we couldn't sleep with all the noise specially during breakfast time. Tv and shower were broken.

We had a super breakfast in this hotel! We received a voucher for "breakfast with bubbles" and chose this hotel to try it out because of the food reviews and perfect location. We were welcomed by 2 super friendly persons who made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. The room where breakfast is served is very cozy and nicely decorated. It feels like home, really. The buffet was plenty with all top quality products. Each of the items we tried was top in its category. The cava that was served with the breakfast was very fruity and perfectly balanced to accompany a breakfast. My guess is that this hotel has a very talented person choosing top products and a skilled team to prepare it well. During breakfast we were a well offered a choice of soft boiled or scrambled eggs, fruit juices and a delicious home made smoothie.. So to conclude: a really great place to have wonderful breakfast in a calm cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Really cool rooms with a bit odd layout, its obvious that someone with a passion for design built this place. Super friendly staff! The breakfast was amazing! Theres a underground parkinglot right next to the hotel if you come by car.

Excellent location and within walking distance of lots of shopping, bakeries and Museums. Also a good pickup spot outside for taxis so convenient for travelling further afield to the best restaurants in Antwerp (there are so many.) The service person at reception I met was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel does not look as good as the pictures. Front door is not apparent and in a small recessed doorway between two display areas of a boutique below. Stepping out of the lift to reception, there is a boggy smell of dead water somewhere and not at all pleasant. (It did not smell in the room, just in all the common parts.) Furniture was tired with stains in the fabric. Table surfaces at taken a beating. In my room itself, the skirting boards were badly scuffed, chunks missing in the bathroom. Looked like some areas had water damage. The bathroom is decorated completely black and I nearly missed the shower as you access it via a small doorway from the main bathroom area. The toilet has a door that closes, but the bathroom is not it's own room. It is just separated by a wall screen. Water in the water bottle did not appear to be a fresh bottle, just a bottle that had been refilled as the seal on the bottle was broken although the water bottle full? If you went to stay for a romantic weekend you'd be really disappointed. But if it was just to sleep and leave, it was fine.

The front office is on the 4th floor. It is a small boutique hotel and the lady of the front office was very nice. We could check in immediately but of course that depends of the situation. She gave us coffee and tea and if you want to have coffee in your room, you can ask and it is included in the room price. The room was nice, big and well designed. A lovely bath room and Marie Stella Maris amenities. Breakfast was great. For me this hotel is a big plus. If we return to Antwerp I will certainly stay again in this lovely hotel.

I travel a lot and spend many nights in hotels. Sometimes you find a gem and this is certainly one of them. Incredibly friendly staff and beautiful room. Breakfast perfect

The price and location are attractive - but - no safe, no fridge, no toilet door, hopeless soundproofing. All in all, you shouldn't expect the standard of NH, Marriot, etc. Numerous other complaints were fixed upon request. The staff did care! Not one of our better holiday experiences but not all bad either. Three stars is fair I reckon.

Great location and very friendly staff!! We had a room that was overlooking the main road and there was no problem with the noise. It has very good curtains, that can make the room completely dark for better sleep - the bed and the pillows were also very comfy. The only downside was the shower, which doesn’t have a door and lets all the steam into the room.

Yelp
Hotel Les Nuits is a super cute boutique hotel located in a great area of Antwerp. It's close to Rubens House, Grote Markt, the Cathedral, and the Meir shopping district. The staff is super friendly and will help you locate anything you are looking for. We really liked everyone we dealt with. The hotel is super dark and the rooms are similarly dark, but with the curtains pulled back there's ample light. The bed was the comfiest of all the hotels we stayed at in Europe. The price was great with a summer sale at hotels dot com, and like I said, in a great area. The two downsides: Internet and shower. They have free wifi, which is fantastic, except the signal in our room was really weak (sometimes dropping and not connecting at all) and you had to enter a really long username/passcode every time you wanted to use the internet. I'm an iphone girl and I'm constantly checking the internet for addresses and places to go, so it was somewhat annoying having to always enter the info. Now the shower...while the water pressure is great (love that!), the problem is there's no door. And it's easily possible to flood the entire bathroom with one shower. It made the whole showering experience less than stellar because I was constantly stressed about flooding the bathroom. Overall, the hotel and staff were great and we really enjoyed our stay here. We'd just love some better internet and a shower door :)
