Hotel L'Esplanade

I can't recommend Hotel L'Esplanade enough!!! The hotel itself is gorgeous - super unique layout and beautiful architecture. The amenities including pool & spa are to die for. Breakfast every morning was tailored to your preference. The hotel organized our rental car & airport transfer which was SO convenient and stress-free. Our room was wonderful - we stayed in the 1 bedroom loft for a week and felt right at home. It was comfortable and well stocked with basic necessities. The location is unbeatable! It might not be right on the beach, but it's just a quick 5 minute walk away. You're also a 5-10 minute walk from all of the best restaurants and beach clubs on the whole island. Grand-Case is definitely the best town to stay in for your trip, and Hotel L'Esplanade is the best hotel! We will be back! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed at the sister hotel, Le Petite Hotel, before our now 15 year old was born. We always planned to go back to Grand Case and stay at L'Esplanade. We finally made held true to that plan and it was everything we had hoped.||Wonderfully comfortable accommodations, great hospitality, a slow-paced comfortable vibe with beautiful sunsets - this place has it all for those looking to get away for a few days. Afternoons spent at the pool connecting with fellow guests, a convenient walk down to the beach and the famous lolos for lunch, and a quiet walk to the main strip for amazing food each evening make L'Esplanade a special place to visit.||Hope to make this our spot for an annual get away.

Needed a little get-a-way after my dog passed, L’Esplanade provided the perfect retreat for me. I came down alone and felt completely welcome and safe. L’Esplanade felt like coming home to long lost friends, from the warm welcome from Yannick, to the friendly bartenders Franky & Francesca, to the super kind housekeeping staff, and the very helpful receptionists, everyone took me in as extended family. I did yoga every day, Ti Temple is amazing and the teachers world class. Spoke to many guests all who have been coming back year after year which is a real testament to this family owned and run gem of a hotel… this is so evident with the attention to detail… owner vs. employee... I was lucky enough to attend the weekly cocktail (Saturday’s in season plus April), there was live music, yummy food, awesome vibes! I stayed in a deluxe studio which was plenty big, delicious bed, feather pillows, fine sheets, great shower pressure with plenty of hot water (turn it the opposite way from how we do it in the US and wait a sec). Went to Super U and shopped, also Totem for speciality items and cooked in the room a fair bit. Others have said L’Esplanade is like coming home without the work and I concur, it’s upscale luxury without the stuffiness and just really comfortable and welcoming! What else… food, Calmos was awesome, Mood too, didn’t do any fancy restaurants because I was solo but everyone around the pool was all about the amazing Grand Case restaurants. I will definitely be back to this hotel, zero reason to look any further!

Excellent boutique hotel in the hills of Marigot. Wonderful team running the property,|you can't go wrong staying here! They treated us great, and a walk down the hill and your in restaurant row, lots of great options. Second year in a row we stayed here.

My wife and I stayed for a week at the end of May and as always everything was perfect. We visit St martin twice a year when possible and we stay at this Hotel every single time and have done so for the last twenty years (for those of you who are thick - this is the best compliment we can give) and every time we leave we immediately start planning our return. ||This hotel does not need my review and I don't normally write reviews but the great ones must be acknowledged - well done AGAIN!

Amazing, beautiful hotel and experience!!! So serene. The gardens are meticulously maintained. It was so incredibly peaceful nestled up on the mountainside. I had an amazing massage at the spa by Funlandia. The pool was super clean and quiet every time I visited. Pool bartenders were very friendly. The yoga deck looked amazing, i definitely have to try a class next time. All the staff were super helpful and kind. The air conditioning was on point!!!! It was pumping. Which is very important after a day sitting out in the hot sun. Speaking of which, only a 10 minute drive to the gorgeous beaches of orient, to the pinel ferry, and a quick walk to grand case beach. Housekeeping was lovely, our room was immaculate everyday. We enjoyed the sunsets every night in the comfy robes provided, glass of wine in hand, sitting on our private terrace. So beautiful, absolute perfection. Loved having the kitchenette and the pastries in the mornings - delish!!! The breakfast setup in the lobby was perfect - fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee. There was a complimentary basket of snacks + 2 large bottles of water, 2 beers, and 6 sodas upon our arrival. It’s about a 7 minute walk down to the main drag of restaurants in grand case and we noticed two security guards on the paths every night which made us feel extra secure. 10/10 trip and we cannot wait to come back!!!!

I've been to Hotel L'Esplanade multiple times now and always have an amazing experience. The staff are so nice, the owners are amazing, the room and grounds are impeccably maintained, and the location cannot be beat. Enjoy a nice relaxed day by the pool with a drink from the swim-up bar before you walk down to restaurant row and have your pick of literally a mile of places to dine and drink. I highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel, just beautiful and great location! Planning on returning next year! Very clean and quiet, relaxing trip with family with small children. Walking distance 10 to 15 mins to beach and local eateries. Great if you prefer small, boutique hotels
