Good Points -
Nice Hotel, cosy, Christmassy, seems to be updated yearly (wall pictures etc).
Out of the town so nice and secluded but can get the Gondola down to town for free which runs all day (Was stopped one day due to wind but is easy enough to get a taxi back up for about 20 Euro).
Food was nice and quite a selection, can get pizza and burgers etc to take out which is nice if want to eat in the room.
Great for kids sledging, lots of good areas to sledge and can go on bottom of slopes once slopes close in the evening.
Bad Points -
Room Cleaning - pretty much non existent - just bins emptied and beds half made. Dirty cups not changed, teas etc not restocked regularly.
Some of the staff - On Christmas day 9:30pm there were 2 staff members on reception. We were sat in lobby near bar as bar seating was full, my 6 year old knocked over a glass of water on the table before the water could run to the floor I picked up a newspaper which was a few days old on the table and put it on the water to stop it assuming this would be fine. Apparently not. The dark haired lady on reception angrily came over picked up the paper and started wiping it, I apologised, my wife also apologised and I thanked her. Leaning over us to wipe the table she completely ignored all of our apologies and gratitudes, didn't respond (or say anything) then returned to her colleague who she quite visually (I assume for our benefit) started waving her hand and showing her he paper clearly angry or mocking us and seemed very proud of herself for being so rude. This actually put quite a dampener on our Christmas Day, it was incredibly rude and embarrassing for us and especially my daughter. Should someone like this be in a position dealing with guests? I apologise (again) if Newspapers are not daily and are treasured in the hotel and would be happy to pay for it if this is the case (as I would have been happy to if she had actually replied to us in the first place) - For this reason we will not be returning to or recommending to Hotel Panorama. I don't think its much to ask for staff to be polite and courteous to paying guests, especially on Christmas Day of all days.
