This is a Business Hotel, the man at the reception was very gentle, the rooms are small, but good. The beds are comfortable. Fun fact, onsen only for man.

A truly heartfelt thank you to the kindest Miss Yoshida and her staff! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and farewelled by the incredibly friendly manager. Throughout our stay, the team looked after us with genuine care, offering fantastic recommendations for local coffee and food spots. When our flights were unexpectedly cancelled due to extreme weather, Miss Yoshida and her staff truly went above and beyond—organizing taxis and seamlessly extending our stay without hesitation. We are so grateful for their kindness, support, and hospitality. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into something we’ll remember with warmth.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service and Great Hospitality We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lexton Tanegashima, made especially memorable thanks to Manager Yoshida-san, who went above and beyond to assist us. She spoke excellent English and gave fantastic local recommendations for restaurants and coffee spots—her help truly enhanced our holiday. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel has a shuttle bus into town if you don’t have a hire car , but I would recommend a hire car on the island as more convenient, and the hotel has ample free parking. The hotel’s breakfast is organised through the joyful restaurant chain had good Western options, which we appreciated as international travellers. They also do lunch and dinner options. Highly recommended for visitors looking for comfort, great service, and a smooth experience on Tanegashima. Thank you again, Yoshida-san, for your kindness and outstanding hospitality.

Average business hotel, not particularly joyful in its design yet clean, quiet and confortable. Convenient shuttle service to the city centre. Great breakfast too.

My first time at a Japanese hotel was a shock. The room was very small and bath tub very tiny. I have never seen a hotel room so small. Having said that the hotel offers excellent service. The room (405) was beautiful. The hotel interior is upmarket and modern. The staff in true Japanese style will go out of their way to assist you with anything. I just hope the hotel will consider English channels on their TV offering.

Located a little ways away but new and fresh. Rooms are clean and are Japanese style business hotel, so basically just for sleeping before starting off on your next day. Tanegashima has many sights to see, so you won't be in your room for long anyway. There is a chain restaurant on the ground floor, Joyful where you can grab a bite to eat.

Good hotel. The room and bathroom are clean however the bathroom smells.
