Hotel Light

Definitely a "smaller" hotel. I say this as I. The amount of rooms they have available. We were on the top floor and the last room (57) Rooms themselves were absolutely fine, beds a little on the low side. The only issue we had was with the heating. Very warm in the room and the fan didn't seem to work so would have had to keep the door ajar to allow cool air in.

Very reasonable priced, spacious apartment for 4 of us sharing and good location for centre of Sofia. Breakfast was lovely, Help yourself buffet, hot or cold. Clean and Tidy. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

(+) Excellent choice for those who want to stay in the center of Sofia, 10 minutes walk from the main Vitosha pedestrian street and close to the majority of sights. The room was worm and clean. Very poolite and helpful staff at reception. The breakfast was quite good, basic variety, but more than enough. The coffee had a perfect taste. (-) The carpeting was old, with some stains. The mentioned SPA is only a small sauna. Upon arrival there was only one set of towels, but after notifying the reception, we got anoter set. The bed is a bit small for two persons. The TV was too small. Hotel's parking costs 10€ per night.

My mom and I had a quick stay at Light Hotel in Sofia. We really enjoyed it. The breakfast options were varied. There were hot options like eggs, bacon and other meats in addition to pastries, toast etc. The only negative thing I could say is the carpet on the first floor in the hall had a slight smell. My mom has a sensitive nose and always sneezed as we walked down the hall to the room. We had absolutely no problems in the room though. It was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is great value for money.

Perfect location, good size room though very basic, clean bathroom very friendly staff at reception, convenient car park just next to the hotel which you need to prebook. Breakfast is good, enough choice. Overall experience is positive, and I do recommend the hotel for a short stay.

Comfortable, clean hotel on a quiet side street about 20 minutes walk from the railway station. The staff are superb. The Greek-speaking hotelier was able to help me make a reservation for a taxi on the other side of the border. Very kind and very professional. Thanks!

Hotel light is very comfortable, has a spa and sauna, all meals are delicious and self service, the staff is very helpful, the location is perfect in the center of Sofia. The rooms are very clean, it has room service every day. I totally recommend. We have been accommodated there with a baby 5 months and everything was perfect.

Location of this hotel was not as nice, the hotel is surrounded by damaged buildings, but whereas the hotel is located in the city centre, you can go wherever by foot. The staff is very friendly and polite, also english speaking, housekeeping was also good. Rooms are reconstructed, big, nice, with fridge, you also have balcony in some rooms and sauna for free (but you need to book before, if there is more people in the hotel). Breakfast was various, I miss only some eggs or bacon, but in every way you can choose. We were also a bit dissapointed because of the bar was out of use. But near the hotel you have groceries so you can buy whatever you want.
