Brienz attracts fewer tourists than Interlaken, which helps maintain a quiet and tranquil ambience. The hotel building was formerly a chalet. It has amenities such as a swimming pool, sauna, and hot tubs. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, doing whatever it takes to make guests feel comfortable. The restaurant serves a sumptuous breakfast buffet and a varied dinner menu. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Interlaken/Brienz or the Bernese Oberland.

Outstanding Experience with Chef Mr. Tejas Chef Mr. Tejas is truly an excellent cook. I tried his butter chicken curry, and it was absolutely amazing — honestly, I’ve never tasted anything like it before. The flavors were perfectly balanced, rich, and unforgettable. Beyond the food, his hospitality is exceptional. He makes you feel genuinely comfortable and welcome, creating an atmosphere that’s warm and relaxed. The care and passion he puts into both his cooking and the guest experience really stand out. Highly recommended — a meal prepared by Chef Tejas is not just food, it’s an experience.

**Note that you can pre-arrange shuttle service with the hotel, they can pick up/drop off at the train station if you have luggage with you. We trekked up the steepest hill on arrival and almost died lol so don’t do it. Beautiful Swiss chalet with lots of history. We got a room with the lake view. It is an old chalet so really there’s no noise canceling anywhere. They have many interesting amenities like sauna/hot tubs that can be arranged. I wish we could stay here for a few more days. Lovely location near Lake Brienz, wayyyy fewer tourists than Iseltwald/Interlaken area, but you still get the view of the same lake. Their restaurant serves the most delicious food as well, especially the fondue!! 🫕 love our server, he was very friendly and kind to us. Receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. Delicious breakfast buffet, I love the good pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice! I cannot wait to revisit this again!

Overlooking the sparkling Lake Brienz, I found myself mesmerized every single day. To make it even more magical, every 30 minutes the Rothorn steam train would pass by, with the shimmering lake as its backdrop. Watching that scene unfold was like stepping into a postcard—it truly felt surreal. Equally remarkable was the multi-cuisine restaurant at the hotel. The food was outstanding in every sense—deliciously prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The hospitality from the restaurant staff made every meal even more special. We had originally planned to explore other dining options in town, but after our first night, we ended up having dinner there almost every evening because nothing else could match the taste and quality we experienced. The perfect combination of stunning views, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality made my stay at Hotel Lindenhof by Crossworld AG extraordinary. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but a truly unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return!

Just back from a great stay at Hotel Lindenhof, Brienz. It’s a wonderful hotel at a beautiful location. The facilities are great, with good breakfast variety, heated indoor swimming pool and clean rooms. The picture perfect garden area and outdoor restaurant seating with views of Lake Brienz are really the highlight of this hotel. What’s more, they provide free transfers for hotel till the train station during check in and check out, which is really convenient considering the hotel’s location at hill top. The staff is really helpful and courteous. Overall, a superb stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lindenhof. The property is beautiful with magnificent views of Lake Brienz. The hotel is very well maintained, and the staff are extremely warm and friendly, always going the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The Hotel provides pick up and drop off service from Brienz station, which made traveling so convenient. The location is excellent too – peaceful, yet very convenient, with all major tourist attractions nearby, making it a perfect base to explore the region. The food was another highlight – plenty of vegetarian-friendly options, and the Asian cuisine was especially delicious. They were also very thoughtful in providing complimentary milk and customizing meals to be baby-friendly, which was a huge help for us. Overall, an excellent experience – a perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and scenic beauty. Highly recommended

For four years now, I've been booking a room with a large hot spot for myself and my children at the Lindenhof Hotel. We relax here and celebrate family holidays. This is by far the best vacation option for me. Relaxation, privacy, a gorgeous view of nature, and everything you need for a family vacation. I especially love doing this in the fall. The combination of cool air and hot water in the hot spot provides the ultimate relaxation for the body. I sincerely thank the Lindenhof Hotel for this opportunity. I now want to come back even more often.

Lovely experience at Hotel Lindenhof! We had a family room with plenty of space, comfortable beds and very clean! We used to say “Swiss clean”, because only in Switzerland they abide to such high cleaning standards in a 4 star hotel. Worth mentioning that that the swimming pool had very warm water, kids enjoyed it a lot! We are really looking to come back and try the hotpot next time. I also must suggest that you should invest more in a good coffee, maybe include a fee or a limit per person, there are many persons like us that are willing to pay for it. But that coffee that you had at breakfast was honestly terrible! :)
