We are on a round trip through nice places in Netherlands. We have chosen this hotel because it is located in the historic part of the city.|The room was not very stylish but everything worked as expected. Everything was clean and shiny. Our dog was welcome too.||The room service was sometimes a bit late but efficient and friendly. Also the people on the desk were helpful.

Perfect location! Right next to the train and bus station. The hotel has a cool breakfast area and meeting room. There is no gym. Our room was on the second floor, we did ask for a quiet room and didn’t hear anything. The room had separate shower and toilet.

Lovely hotel! The location is incredible being so close to the station and a lovely walk into where most of the shops and restaurants are! The desk staff were lovely and really helpful, the rooms were cleaned very well by the housekeeping staff and the bar staff were nice too. The rooms are lovely and include a fridge which is always a bonus! The only thing I didn’t like is the ‘twin’ beds are actually essentially a double bed made up with separate bedding. I tried to move the beds apart but they were fixed to the wall. I didn’t really understand how that can be called a twin room. Otherwise no faults.. the aircon worked great in the room and what a treat being able to actually fully open a window, as you can’t do that in the UK! Nice view from the window of the side street and the noise from outside wasn’t too loud either! I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would 100% stay here again!

This was a great find! Originally, we booked this hotel because Amsterdam was just too expensive when we needed to be there. But I'm so glad we stayed here. Staff was friendly. The lounge & bar downstairs was very comfortable and we enjoyed a glass of wine or two several times. We did not partake in the breakfast but it looked good. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the square and train station. Yes, a stone's throw from the station so we easily walked there with our luggage. (We had taken train there from the airport as well.) The hotel room's bathroom was very large. We didn't like the fact that the shower wasn't totally enclosed so water went everywhere. We appreciated having a small refrigerator. We removed the parts and was able to store quite a bit that we had purchased from local market. I didn't give the hotel 5 stars because we felt the rooms could have been cleaned a little faster. We would stay here again.

Good hotel. Clean. Good breakfast and bar. Firm bed. Mixed experiences with staff but mostly good. BIG ISSUE and why I cannot recommend.... No control of your thermostat. The front desk admitted this morning, after we mentioned 2 days in a row, that the thermostat was changing from cold to hot during the night that the hotel has it set to do that. (Last nights front desk person wasn't so forthcoming with that truth.) Even with no blanket it was hot, which was ironic since the bedding provided was a heavy duvet/comfortor and a single base sheet for the mattress. Our room also had a broken windows that wouldn't open for relief so there was no other option but to sweat and get very little sleep. The hallway was way more cold than our room.

Very nice hotel! Conveniently placed right beside the main railway station, but don't worry, you're not going to hear the trains. The rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent!! Will definitely want to come back sometimes!

I stayed 5 nights in August 2025 in this hotel. Haarlem is a great option to stay for those who want to visit Amsterdam but want to skip the overly priced Amsterdam hotels. This hotel in particular is literally by the train/bus station which makes travelling to Amsterdam super easy (15 mins by train). My room was on the backside of the hotel (as per my request), so I didn’t experience any noise from the main square/train station. The rooms have basic furnishing that looks a bit dated, but they are well taken care of and cleaning is spotless. The rooms have a very small fridge and also an espresso maker and tea making facilities which get replenished daily. The breakfast is quite good with a rather broad selection of warm & cold dishes; the freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice plus. The only thing I could complain about was that my room was not ready for check-in at 15:00, I had to wait an extra hour to have my room ready. Other than that, a positive stay at the hotel which I can happily recommend.

Really lovely hotel. |We were early so couldn’t check in but we could leave our luggage in a locked room. Staff were all friendly. The room was spacious enough, a modern tv with Netflix, space to hang a few clothes. A very good suprise was a hidden fridge chiller. I thought it was a drawer to the desk but it’s a hidden gem. |The bathroom was nice and big with a powerful shower. Everywhere was clean and fresh. It was a good price for what you get too. The area was lovely and quiet which I wasn’t sure would be as it’s right across the square from the train station but there was noise at all. A really beautiful stay.

Yelp
very comfortable hotel. Simple and quiet with an amazingly convenient location next to the train station. I found the service to be excellent. The front desk staff was attentive and appropriately cheerful. Best of all my room was very quiet and comfortable. I slept very well especially on one particularly rainy night.

Yelp
A lovely hotel to stay when exploring Haarlem or to meet up with friends for a cup of tea. I just completely adored the lobby, it's so cosy and warm. Just a hop and skip away from the train station, buses and taxi. Ideal location because you are right in the center of Haarlem where you can enjoy the lovely shops, restaurants, cafes and outdoor markets.

Yelp
Summary based on one 2 night stay: --close to train station --better than average business hotel --helpful staff, with English spoken (as is common in the Netherlands) --ok breakfast when included in rate --quiet, considering location. Good location for exploring Haarlem and also Amsterdam, which is convenient by train.

Yelp
What a gem of a hotel. Recently updated. Very clean. Great staff. Good breakfast. Serviceable bar and cafe. We had to eat here last night because of significant rain. Was great - nothing fancy but enjoyable. Rooms are comfortable with great linens. Especially love the fact that it's right by the station. Kid and dog friendly as well.

Yelp
Stopped for cocoa and coffee on a sparkling morning, sitting in the sun watching the biking families go by on a Sunday was very pleasant. The staff was more than kind to us, and the they were most efficient to boot.

Yelp
I had a very pleasant two night stay on a business trip during December. The continental breakfast was quite good. Overall staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that Internet was quite expensive at 10 euros for one hour or 17 euros for 24 hours. Also of note is that I was traveling by rented car, which was convenient.
