This was a great find! Originally, we booked this hotel because Amsterdam was just too expensive when we needed to be there. But I'm so glad we stayed here. Staff was friendly. The lounge & bar downstairs was very comfortable and we enjoyed a glass of wine or two several times. We did not partake in the breakfast but it looked good. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the square and train station. Yes, a stone's throw from the station so we easily walked there with our luggage. (We had taken train there from the airport as well.) The hotel room's bathroom was very large. We didn't like the fact that the shower wasn't totally enclosed so water went everywhere. We appreciated having a small refrigerator. We removed the parts and was able to store quite a bit that we had purchased from local market. I didn't give the hotel 5 stars because we felt the rooms could have been cleaned a little faster. We would stay here again.

Very nice hotel! Conveniently placed right beside the main railway station, but don't worry, you're not going to hear the trains. The rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent!! Will definitely want to come back sometimes!

Really lovely hotel. |We were early so couldn’t check in but we could leave our luggage in a locked room. Staff were all friendly. The room was spacious enough, a modern tv with Netflix, space to hang a few clothes. A very good suprise was a hidden fridge chiller. I thought it was a drawer to the desk but it’s a hidden gem. |The bathroom was nice and big with a powerful shower. Everywhere was clean and fresh. It was a good price for what you get too. The area was lovely and quiet which I wasn’t sure would be as it’s right across the square from the train station but there was noise at all. A really beautiful stay.

We chose to stay here for proximity to Keukenhof and Amsterdam. Perfect location near train stations so easy to get about, but only a short walk into main areas of Haarlem. The room was very good - we had a triple room at the back of the hotel. Very spacious with bath and walk in shower. Beds were comfy, all very clean. Staff were friendly, would happily stay again.

This is a decent hotel and dog friendly. The rooms are not huge but are clean and the bed and bedding nice. We were on the ground floor so there is some noise on the side street but it was fine as it's not a wild neighborhood. You wonder about being near the train station but it's fine - not like some train station hotels. Breakfast is fabulous.

I believe that the hotel is constructed out of two buildings. We originally had a room on the third floor facing the square on the reception side of the building. We found that noise from the square louder than we liked and oddly the building moved like a small earthquake randomly, my guess is from certain trains? We moved to the back portion facing a side street and no longer had any shaking and very little noise. It's in a perfect location if using Haarlem as a base to explore north Holland. I would stay here again but request a room not facing the square.
