We spent 4 nights at Laconda Della Posta and enjoyed every moment. First, Samantha, Sharon and Lorenzo are incredible people. Warm, cheerful, friendly and very helpful ans were many other staff members. Our room was clean, spacious and the bath was very large, not a typical European size. Breakfast each morning was delicious and more than ample. Location is perfect! We enjoyed opening our windows, watching and listening to the activity below on the piazza. If you are super sensitive to noise you may not like the morning street washing, trash collection or late night laughter, however, I wouldn’t let that be a deterrent.

I stayed in the Vanucci Suite with my wife and daughter. The suite was spacious and elegantly decorated. There are two separate bedroom spaces and two bathrooms, although there isn't actually a door between them (just a doorway). The inner space has a couch bed, which my daughter liked. Breakfast at the hotel is exceptionally good. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and they assisted with moving bags. There was some minor noise from pedestrians upon occasion, but in general the room was quiet and comfortable with a nice bed. The bathrooms are redone with very modern fixtures. There's a bit of style over substance here, as the control lever on the sinks is nearly impossible to use properly. But, there is plenty of hot water and a truly enormous rain showerhead in the shower area.

Three things I loved about our stay at this Hotel. One, the location is fantastic. Two, the hotel is beautiful. Three, the staff are fabulous. The hotel is located in walking distance of everything you need to see and do in Perugia. The hotel is modern, great bathroom, lovely room, fantastic bed and sheets and breakfast is delicious. The staff were so helpful. Providing information regarding were to go, how to get there etc. Our experience at this hotel was brilliant.

The best location in town, right on the main Corso. A beautifully restored old building from 1786, lots of marble and decorations. Spacious, very helpful staff, clean, quiet, elegant, excellent bathroom with good shower and abundant towels. Free water bottles and refills. Kettle and coffee in room, adequate storage and electric sockets. Best buffet breakfast ever, masses of fruit, fresh eggs, cakes, cold meats, yoghurts, waffles etc. Couldn’t fault it. But do not under any circumstances bring a car. The hotel is a few yards from the airport bus stop, you don’t need it. The hotel garage is incredibly complicated to reach and open, you need help with the narrow entrances, and driving in Perugia centre is a nightmare. The sat nav sends you down streets barely wide enough for a small car, with cars and bikes in the way, steep hills, corners, rough surface, and beware directions that send you into a pedestrianised street.

Excellent location right on the main square but quiet at night. Very modern up-to-date interior in an old building. We stayed in a newly renovated building across the square they call The Bank Hotel. The breakfast restaurant is in the main building, the Locanda, which they say dates from the 1780s. Hotel staff speaks excellent English. Our deluxe-level room was large by Italian standards and well appointed.

We spent four wonderful days here and didn’t want to leave! The staff is very friendly, always accommodating anything from dinner reservations in amazing restaurants to late breakfast (which was delicious). The space is beautiful and rooms are modern and cozy (amazing shower too). We’ll definitely be back, thank you for kindness and hospitality!

We booked the hotel directly and were delighted to receive polite reassuring confirmation of acceptance and details to help arrival and parking arrangements. Upon arrival a friendly Mauro greeted us in the adjacent Piazza and transferred our luggage to our room and parked our car nearby as promised. Check-in was seamless with Andre and Lorenzo greeting us warmly and explaining the key details we needed for our enjoyable stay. Subsequently our experience at the Locanda della Posta exceeded our expectations with front desk, restuarant and porter staff all providing warm and competent service. The Locanda has been a highlight of our European trip and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough for quality of service and convenience with its preeminent location in the centre of Perugia’s iconically beautiful historic centre.

This beautiful, elegant hotel is located right in the centre of beautiful, elegant Perugia. We spent four nights here and just loved it. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet with a balcony overlooking the stunning roofs of Perugia. The bed was very comfy. Tea and coffee making was provided in the room. The bathroom was spacious, impeccably clean and stylish. Good quality toiletries were provided and replenished daily, as needed. The room was cleaned to a high standard on each day of our visit.|Breakfast, served in a beautifully decorated room, was one of the best we have ever eaten!|Wifi worked well.|We specially liked the drinks station outside the lifts/elevators, which included an espresso machine.|Staff were all pleasant, professional and efficient.|We didn’t want to leave!

Yelp
A very nice property in a very nice location in a very nice town. The front desk is very helpful and attentive. The room was well appointed. The location is special in that you can walk out the front door into the flow of the main square in town.
