The best location in town, right on the main Corso. A beautifully restored old building from 1786, lots of marble and decorations. Spacious, very helpful staff, clean, quiet, elegant, excellent bathroom with good shower and abundant towels. Free water bottles and refills. Kettle and coffee in room, adequate storage and electric sockets. Best buffet breakfast ever, masses of fruit, fresh eggs, cakes, cold meats, yoghurts, waffles etc. Couldn’t fault it. But do not under any circumstances bring a car. The hotel is a few yards from the airport bus stop, you don’t need it. The hotel garage is incredibly complicated to reach and open, you need help with the narrow entrances, and driving in Perugia centre is a nightmare. The sat nav sends you down streets barely wide enough for a small car, with cars and bikes in the way, steep hills, corners, rough surface, and beware directions that send you into a pedestrianised street.
