Hotel L'Ocean

We were here for my partners 50th and was so happy we ended up here. We couldn't have been looked after any better. We arrived, mentioned about bicycles, they were there in next to no time. Whilst we didn't eat there at night, breakfast was amazing. The view from our room and the restaurant was amazing!! Our last day we were going to leave before breakfast so they put together a packed breakfast so we could eat as we travel. It did lunch as well!! Thank you so much for your kindness, we really did appreciate the gesture, sorry it has taken me so long to write the review.

Very expensive hotel for what they offer and the facilities too. The room was quite bad with old furniture at every point.Never smelled freshly Basic breakfast, could have more daily options Nevertheless,staff was friendly and helpful

Wonderful place. Excellent location. View from rooms is mesmerizing. Sachin and staff are wonderful people. Food is excellent and decently priced. Nothing much you can ask for. Thanks guys for memorable stay. Few reviews complain about property being old. Yes it is an old property but old things have their own charm. Need some maintenance but not a problem until it affects your convenience. Stay is recommended unless you are looking for a luxury stay.

Service was excellent. Location is fantastic, you overlook the beautiful ocean and some islands. The room was clean and the bedding was good. However, the mattress had better days. The room has a balcony where you can sit and relax while enjoying the vista. The appearance of the room looked a bit dated, but is not bad. The hotel is an "old school" type of hotel. There is a mini bar fridge in the room as well as a small safe. There were new tiles in the bathroom. The shower is very cramped. No bath. The restaurant is an open air restaurant. The food at the restaurant was really good. Everything worked properly, the hotel was really clean. The manger and his staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. There is WIFI and a television in each room.

The location and the view from the room were outstanding. The room itself was ok but the bathroom is in desperate need of renovation and deep cleaning. For breakfast you have a couple of options to choose from, it was good. For dinner we didn't know what we were getting we just had to tell if we have any dietary restriction nevertheless (and luckily) it was very tasty. Unfortunately we didn't find the staff very friendly and they also made differences between guests (e.g. already upon arrival we saw others were welcomed with a welcome drink while we were not). The price of renting a bike has increased and now stands at 150 rupees/person/day.

Great location and amazing view from the hotel. All rooms with balconies facing the ocean. The service was very nice and helpful. Delicious breakfasts.

Stayed at L'Ocean for 10 nights and was impressed with both it and the island in general. Great location, good food, great service, friendly staff. We booked half board and were served with excellent three course meals and two outstanding buffets. Breakfast was a feast with a selection of fruit, toast and eggs (cooked any way you wanted) and a variety of cakes/croissants. All meals were served on terrace with amazing view of neighboring islands. We hired bikes at the hotel and rode to the other end of the island (Grand Anse) and on another day to L'Union Estate and Source Argent. We also went on a boat trip to Grand Soeur, Coco and Felicite - bit pricey but absolutely worth it. Outstanding snorkelling and beautiful beaches. Would definitely go back

We had a really nice stay at the hotel! The view is amazing. Close to the hotel you will find the most beautiful beach in the world! The stuff is friendly and they clean the room everyday.Breakfast is delicious, fresh fruits and juice every morning, eggs, crepes, coffee, butter and bread.
