BE AWARE:|We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was the biggest mistake.|From the time we checked in, I saw the red flags. |First they gave us a different room than we originally booked. Receptionist kept saying it was similar because our specific room was already booked. |We didn’t have cash because we arrived late (needed to exchange money) and could not tip the luggage guy so he got upset. |The sheets were stained, fortunately I reported as we did the walkthrough. However, sheets were not replaced.|They said there was a jacuzzi but was not working but had no access.|Shower and toilet. A nightmare. Shower is very slippery. Who uses title for a shower? Soap+water+title flooring!! We had to use minimal soap and placed towels because it was slippery. Electrical cords hanging in the shower ceiling? That’s a first. The toilet. Just horrible. No privacy whatsoever. For a romantic night, make sure you don’t need to use the toilet. My wife and I had to literally leave the room if we wanted to use the toilet because can hear and see. Why? Because is not an actual door, is a divider attached to a door frame.|We tried talking to the manager. Adriana Quintana. Refused to talk to us, all the receptionists just pointed fingers at each other. We paid in full and when we checked out, we were asked to paid another cleaning fee but in cash. No receipt or form. Straight up asked to 500 pesos cash for “additional cleaning”.|Also, the WiFi is very slow. |In my own experience they took advantage of us from the beginning. |I regret staying here. Don’t trust Tik-Tok or social media. That’s how we found this hotel. |I think they pay some or most of these “influencers” to give you a pretty picture of the hotel. However, the actual experience was not pleasant. |Also I went to their website and the photos of the rooms are a mix of all the hotel rooms. Our room had some photos of the actual room, but half of the other photos were from a different room. |Not a 5 star hotel |Not worth the price|Scam

For tourists: be careful with these hotels!|We stayed for just one night and when we arrived, the bed sheets were already stained (our mistake was not complaining right away). When we checked out, they charged us 5,700 Mexican pesos for the cost of the sheets and “several stained items.”|It’s really sad how there’s always abuse toward tourists, trying to overcharge whenever they can.

The location, charm, and breakfast were the highlights of this hotel stay. Just a heads up, nights can get pretty loud with music, so light sleepers might want to pack some earplugs or think twice.

The hotel has a lot of potential. Good people working there. But if you are tired and need sleep, this is not the place for you. It’s noisy. Very noisy. Parties until late, staff come in early and have no regard for people sleeping. I had ear plus and noise cancelling headphones …….

If your idea of a perfect stay in Oaxaca is a hotel where sleep is optional and noise is a 24/7 feature, then this is *the* place for you. From morning to midnight (and well into the next morning), the soundtrack never stops. We stayed in three different rooms, and guess what? The noise was equally relentless in all of them. Sure, it’s a trendy hotel with staff that’s... fine, I guess, but let’s be honest—cool vibes don’t count for much when you’re running on zero sleep. So, one star it is. Oh, and about those three rooms? Turns out, they sold the room we originally booked to someone else. Sleep deprivation *and* a game of musical rooms? Truly an unforgettable experience—but not in a good way.

I should have read the reviews more carefully. The noise is unbearable. Literally have the bar with deafening music right next door. Impossible to sleep even with earplugs. Absolutely incredible they are still in business with the hotel part. READ CAREFULLY THE REVIEWS IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BOOKING A ROOM!!!

A great place to stay in downtown Oaxaca from where you can have a short and colorful walk to zócalo and mercado 20 de Noviembre a great place to eat!

This is a good hotel, in an incredibly central location. We had the Mexican suite on the ground floor which was a decent size, comfy bed and good amenities. The hairdryer was particularly good!||Ok, as per other reviews, it is noisy but you're in central Oaxaca therefore you're likely here to party anyway. Most hotels are fairly open in structure and have rooftop bars with a stairway into the central reception so I don't think you could avoid noise. The hotel however so provide earplugs and we slept through. ||The staff are very professional and friendly. The breakfast is across the road on the beautiful terrace with a great view. It is a good breakfast (8am to 11.30am).||They also have a small mezcal bar which had a lot of atmosphere. ||I gave three star rather than 4 as it was good but nothing exceptional. Would I stay here again, yes.
