Hotel Los Habaneros

room was very clean and had a great view of the street and surrounding area. Big windows that opened wide onto a small balcony. everyone we dealt with was helpful. the restaurant seemed to be very popular with what I assumed were local business people and was right on the sidewalk so great place to have a coffee before setting out for the day. every meal we had there was very good.

The hotel (€80 per night incl parking) looks lovely on the pictures. There are stains on the walls everywhere. Very rundown 😒 But …. Very loud. On the main road towards the port. Traffic, traffic, traffic. 😩 The restaurant was a joke. The food not edible 🤬

If you ever visit this lovely city, this is the hotel for you. It's walking distance to all of the historical sites and located within the old quarter. The Punic Wall is just in front. The food is amazing. Ask for the menu of the day and it's full course with dessert and coffee included. Mr. Antonio Santiago was resourceful, courteous and willing to ensure we were fine. Bar staff attended us with smiles and warm greetings. Thank you Habaneros.

We booked this hotel when visiting Cartagena. The location of this hotel is perfect, near to most sites etc. The staff are very inviting, friendly and eager to make sure guests are comfortable. The hotel is a big hotel with parking available at the price of 12 euros a day. The hotel room we got was on the 3rd floor facing the car park. The view was ok but the room was a bit old. The pillows were horrible and the cover sheet on the bed had stains on them. There was a mini fridge and a few accessories- comb, a little soap...no toothpaste, clean towels. They have the old fashioned air conditioner - the vents would not oscilate, I had to open them manually. The air condition seemed to even chip ot one night. Woke up sweating. So we slept with the sir on AND the window open which was so much better. The room we stayed in needs upgrading. There were 2 elevators to our floor. One broke down while we were there. HA! Maybe request a room facing the entrance would have been smarter? Thank you for your service!

Great value for money for half board, ideally located in walking distance to all the sights. Stayed in one of the non renovated rooms which was absolutely fine and spacious. Initially worried that bed seemed a bit firm but actually I slept very well after a long walk around the city. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the 3 course dinner was decent and saved us going out again after a day's sightseeing.

Nice centrally located hotel with comfortable room. Dinner was excellent and good value, and the staff we met were all very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the main centre of Cartagena including the many archaeological sites and the port, with everything within walking distance. The hotel itself was absolutely fine and represented very good value for money. The room itself was good although the bathroom could have done with a bit of modernisation. For the price of the room thought, it was more than adequate. The Hotel restaurant served great food at very reasonable prices and the terrace outside was perfect for breakfast in the morning and relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. We only had one problem during our stay which was swiftly rectified by the hotel reception manager.||To summarise, a great value, perfectly located hotel, ideal as a base for exploring the city of Cartagena, we would definitely stay here again on our next visit

We were very impressed with this excellent hotel. It is ideally located five minutes walk from the bus station. All the staff we dealt with were pleasant and spoke fluent English. The breakfast was adequate. The hotel is an easy 15 minutes walk to the centre of Cartagena. We would highly recommend it.
