Hôtel Louis II - Paris

Seriously the very best hotel I have ever stayed at for such a reasonable price! It is not too big yet not too small - but perfect stay for a true Paris experience. I so appreciate that they were able to elevate the look of this building while also preserving its original structure. It is just so charming and so Paris. We stayed in the suite. Plenty of room for my husband and our toddler. Very well kept and the cleanest hotel I've been in. Also very friendly staff and location is the best! Highly recommend! Thank you Louis ll!

I stayed here for 6 nights and had a really good experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything neat the whole time. The location was great—right in the center of Paris, close to plenty of restaurants and cafés, but still quiet enough inside to get good rest. I also liked the view of the streets from my room, which gave it a nice Paris feel without being noisy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they spoke English well enough that communication was never a problem. Breakfast was a buffet for 14 euros, and it was more than enough to make a full meal, which made mornings easy and saved some money compared to eating out every day. Between the location, the service, and the overall atmosphere, it felt like a good balance of comfort and value for a longer stay. The only downsides were the WiFi and the pillows. The internet was a bit slow at times, and in the upper rooms the connection didn’t always hold up well, especially in the evenings. Also, a couple of the pillows had a faint smell that wasn’t very pleasant, even though the rest of the room was spotless. Those things aside, I thought it was a solid place to stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, convenient base in central Paris.

The location and staff were superior at Hotel Louis 2. There always was a friendly smile and total willingness to serve. They recommended and made a dinner reservation for us at Hotel Le Relais St Germaine, across the street, where we thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Breakfast was typical - nice selection of coldcuts, pastries, eggs/sausage, yogurt and fruit. A nice touch was offering a carafe with already made cafe American and mugs. Also, the blueberry coffee cake was very tasty. My only ding was for room size, which was pretty tiny but maybe typical for the area. We would return!

From the moment I checked in and throughout my stay, it was an enjoyable experience. My room was extremely clean each day I stayed. The staff were exceptional and the location is beautiful. I purposely did not want to stay near the extremely tourist areas, and this area was much quieter and still so much to do. I will stay here again next time and would recommend to others.

We had such an amazing time and will definitely book again!!! Alizée and the rest of the staff was very attentive even before we flew into Paris. Our airport transfers were booked and timely, great options for breakfast on the main floor and the room is very cozy. I like that the location was close to all the restaurants and cafes so walking accessible.

Excellent experience in this hotel. The facilities are very clean, tidy and in excellent condition. The attention of the staff and in particular of the girl at reception was excellent. Good breakfast buffet option. Hotel very close to Notredamme and access by public transport. Highly recommended. Thank you!!!

Overall excellent hotel in great location near Odéon. Staff was very friendly, room was large, bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good. Only issue was the hide-a-bed/couch cushions wouldn’t stay when using as a couch. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of the hotel and staff were very helpful. They emailed me prior to our stay asking us if we needed recommendations and sent us a list. While the rooms were expectedly small they were nicely decorated. Our only issue was the bathroom sliding door had a hard time latching on and would take multiple tries. Would stay here again!

I happened to stay here by fate. Originally I was staying for 1 night at another hotel nearby before transiting to the countryside but we decided we wanted to stay another night in Paris. Our original hotel was completely booked up so the manager recommended me here. He said it was brand new (3 weeks) and completely renovated. Location: I absolutely love this area. You can walk everywhere. There's a gelato place next door and a delicious bakery down the block as well as Marco Polo (restaurant) across the street as well as many shops. Customer service: everyone here is so lovely and helpful. From Josen (I think that's how spell his name) at night to Juliette in the morning I can't even explain how sweet and helpful they were. Beyond 5 star service for sure. Room: beautiful with fresh clean carpets and comfy beds and the bathroom was so modern with and clean. I got the smallest room so it was a bit tight but still fit 2 comfortably. Trust me and stay here. You will not be disappointed. Already planning our trip back next year. Ps free breakfast and snack and drinks all day.

We only stayed here for one night but this little hotel is very clean, super friendly staff and more importantly the location is the best! It is just one block away from a very busy intersection and you cannot hear a thing!

Service was great and rooms were a great price for the very nice location. Rooms were small but very cozy. Great TV, WiFi, comfortable new beds, pristine bathrooms, and everything was very clean. Loved it this boutique hotel.

This hotel was fantastic. We stayed for only one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location, right next to the Odeon metro and close to Jardin du Luxembourg. It was a wonderfully comfortable place to stay.

We stayed here for an overnight. It is a small boutique hotel in a great location - near the Jardin du Luxembourg and Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Our room was very small, but cute and cozy. Staff was very accomodating and it was a nice overall stay.

Great spot, very accommodating. This will be my regular. Very close to entertainment and the rooms although small are very comfortable and well decorated. Great lobby, comfy chairs.

We just returned from our stay at Hotel Louis II. On the plus side - this hotel is in a fantastic location on a quiet street. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I've stayed in Paris several times, in 2-4 star hotels, and although this hotel is rated as 4 star it was not as nice as other 3 star hotels I've stayed in. Everything feels a little worn. I was expecting a small room, as is typical in Paris, but there was literally 1-2 feet on either side of the bed, so it was tiny even by Paris standards. Mixed reviews on the staff. Some were kind and helpful, but one woman in particular made me feel like I was annoying her by asking for help. She also gave me the wrong directions, not intentionally, it's just that she didn't care to really look carefully. Next time I would stay at the 3 star hotel down the street that was much nicer and friendlier. Expected more from a 4 star rating.
