Hôtel Louis II - Paris

I stayed here for 6 nights and had a really good experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything neat the whole time. The location was great—right in the center of Paris, close to plenty of restaurants and cafés, but still quiet enough inside to get good rest. I also liked the view of the streets from my room, which gave it a nice Paris feel without being noisy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they spoke English well enough that communication was never a problem. Breakfast was a buffet for 14 euros, and it was more than enough to make a full meal, which made mornings easy and saved some money compared to eating out every day. Between the location, the service, and the overall atmosphere, it felt like a good balance of comfort and value for a longer stay. The only downsides were the WiFi and the pillows. The internet was a bit slow at times, and in the upper rooms the connection didn’t always hold up well, especially in the evenings. Also, a couple of the pillows had a faint smell that wasn’t very pleasant, even though the rest of the room was spotless. Those things aside, I thought it was a solid place to stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, convenient base in central Paris.

The location and staff were superior at Hotel Louis 2. There always was a friendly smile and total willingness to serve. They recommended and made a dinner reservation for us at Hotel Le Relais St Germaine, across the street, where we thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Breakfast was typical - nice selection of coldcuts, pastries, eggs/sausage, yogurt and fruit. A nice touch was offering a carafe with already made cafe American and mugs. Also, the blueberry coffee cake was very tasty. My only ding was for room size, which was pretty tiny but maybe typical for the area. We would return!

From the moment I checked in and throughout my stay, it was an enjoyable experience. My room was extremely clean each day I stayed. The staff were exceptional and the location is beautiful. I purposely did not want to stay near the extremely tourist areas, and this area was much quieter and still so much to do. I will stay here again next time and would recommend to others.

This hotel absolutely made our 3 day trip to Paris. The location is superb - not too busy, not too quiet. A very short walk to the metro, and tons of bars and bistros on your doorstep. The staff were amazing throughout, even before we arrived the communication was excellent and is genuinely personal - you aren't talking to a robot, it's a local who clearly loves their job and city. During the stay they were incredibly helpful, emailing us on arrival day as soon as our room was ready, this is after letting us drop our bags as soon as we arrived in the city. The rooms are gorgeous - it's Paris so don't expect Vegas sized rooms, but do expect beautiful decor and fixtures in a proper historic building. Me and my wife left wanting to come back to stay in Paris in the future, and when we do it will be at the Louis II.

This hotel is so charming and located in a wonderful neighbourhood. Your steps away from wonderful cafes, shops and the metro. The staff were extremely helpful and we loved our connecting rooms as it was perfect for a family of 4 to stay together. Hotel was extremely clean and welcoming. We will definitely stay at Hotel Louis II again!

Excellent experience in this hotel. The facilities are very clean, tidy and in excellent condition. The attention of the staff and in particular of the girl at reception was excellent. Good breakfast buffet option. Hotel very close to Notredamme and access by public transport. Highly recommended. Thank you!!!

We had such an amazing time and will definitely book again!!! Alizée and the rest of the staff was very attentive even before we flew into Paris. Our airport transfers were booked and timely, great options for breakfast on the main floor and the room is very cozy. I like that the location was close to all the restaurants and cafes so walking accessible.

Overall excellent hotel in great location near Odéon. Staff was very friendly, room was large, bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good. Only issue was the hide-a-bed/couch cushions wouldn’t stay when using as a couch. Would definitely stay here again.
