Hôtel Aoriste (ex Hôtel Louvre Piemont)

Staff is super-friendly and helpful. Small boutique hotel that was recently renovated and it shows. Rooms are very small and hall noise travels. We stayed in a classic room. Elevator available but also very small. Breakfast available but we did not eat here. Location great BUT road closure during daytime hours make it very difficult for taxis and Ubers to get to you. This has not been an issue at night. Front desk staff very helpful and informative.

One of the nicest little hotels I've ever stayed in Europe. Internal design, the people working there, very nice breakfast, a clean and comfortable room in the center of the city. What more could we wish for? The location of the hotel is TOP, close to famous sights in a walking distance, with many great asian restaurants nearby. What was the nicest surprise to us is the highest professionalism of the reception, especially Mr. Amad who was always going that extra mile to make our staying in Paris smooth and memorable.

Location near to Louvre and with a lot of shops, but with quiet atmosphere Staff kind and propositive Room romantic, sized enought for 4 people, very clean. Fantastic relaxing pool Everything was good!

Definitely a great location and excellent staff. I mean, it's a struggle not to give a full 5 stars, and it was close. I had changed and added another night and Sophie was really very helpful and took care of that. I think it was Emad that met us when we arrived and recognized me from the emails. We left our luggage and goodness, were just a two minute walk from the Louvre, the metro 1 at Place Colette and we even hoofed it from there to the Eiffel Tower (I would not recommend doing that in the rain...it is actually much further than it looks). ||Sophie set me on to City Mapper (like Google and apple maps) as she uses it and it gives train times, if something is running later, and even suggests which car to get onto on the metro or train. And because the metro is just a minute away, and with Sophie's instructions, we got the Ile de France app where we could very easily buy tickets. Once we did that, we were off to Cirque du Soleil, changing from metro to train and purchased return tickets through the app. We even did it to go to the airport (13e! Ireland needs to learn from France when it comes to public transport).||The hotel itself, being very well positioned, is clean and the breakfast is great. There isn't a huge place for breakfast, nor is it needed. It's still spacious and you get a nice spread of sausages and eggs, fresh and hard boiled eggs, loads of cheese choices and some fruits and such. The smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and cucumber plus baguette was my choice both mornings. It was good quality and straight forward. There is a water dispenser with chilled flat and sparkling water (great for filling up the water bottles for the day) and the coffee is a machine, nespresso, with a good range.||We had the junior suite, as a treat for ourselves, and that's where there's a star knocked off, and I really don't mean this in a bad way. It's just how it was. There was a very distinctive odour mainly in the hall, kind of like a sewage or salty-seaside smell, which wasn't present in the bathroom or the bedroom. We mentioned it on the day we were leaving and Sophie jumped right on to it and was to have someone look into it. It wasn't a huge deal, just felt like a pipe might have opened up, or just the way the building was. Besides that, the room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable, something unusual for hotels I find. We had a great sleep both nights. The balcony is very small, or a better word is, quaint. Very Parisian and just nice to sit out (or stand out because it had been very wet, and cold, but great for a brisk morning wake up with coffee in hand). The view over the rooftops was lovely. It was let down in a slight way in that the room is in the apex and the sides, rafters, come up so that if you walked out of the bed on the right side (facing it) you'd easily crack your head. The same way in the toilet. It's hard to describe, but just picture every film set in the smoky old days of London or Paris where the writer with no money gets a room at the very top of the hostel, the corner of the attic. That's what it's like. Quirky and nice a way, but just...not hugely practical. I put a luggage stand on that side so I could bump into it instead of the roof if I got up in the middle of the night (and let's face it, in your 50s, getting up in the middle of the night does happen more often).||All in all, the location + staff made the hotel stupendous. The room itself, junior suite for that price, maybe go for one of the other rooms. It would have been a full 5 star with one of the others. Again, you could not ask for a better, more friendly, more experienced staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. You'll get to any of the most famous hallmarks quite easily from the hotel and it's definitely worth booking a stay.

Had to give a business presentation and wanted to visit the Louvre & the Notre Dame. This was the perfect hotel. Both within walking distance and also the metro was nearby. The friendliness of the staff was excellent. When we come back we will book this hotel again.

We just finished our stay here. It was 5/5 stars. Our host Emad was very helpful and friendly, recommending dinner and lunch spots for us and helping us with transport bookings. He made our stay memorable :) Highly recommend.

I’m going back to stay this hotel again for the next visit! I have to say, I missed the cozy atmosphere of my room better than the Pullman Hotel near the Eiffel Tower - the price was lower, but it was so much more charming. Sofia, Ruben and all the concierge were so attentive and helpful and made my trip remembering.

The hotel is small, well managed, and perfectly located near the Louvre, the Opera, and Galeries Lafayette, with great transportation options nearby. Our front desk / concierge Emet was so wonderful, going the extra mile several times, including being happy to arrange private transportation.

This place was great! The staff were all very kind and accommodating to any questions or needs we had (though they weren't much). Stayed for a total of 5 nights and they were all incredible. The room we were given was very comfortable, being able to accommodate a 3rd person as a part of its large size. Air conditioning was very comfortable, did not have to use our fans to cool us down like some other places. Other reviews mentioned something about a smell in the room, I did not notice a single thing of the sort. Also, the room was made up very nice when we asked for it. Overall, very enjoyable, and a very comforting and relaxing experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to book a trip to Paris. P.S. Completely forgot to mention it, but it is a less than 5 minute walk away from the louvre museum if you plan to go there.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, also noted as LP, while in Paris for our 3 night stay. We booked through American Express and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. This is a boutique hotel with limited staff and bed availability, however, it was exactly what we needed for our busy days running about Paris. We appreciated the espresso and tea in room along with the free mini bar. We also loved the bathtub with bath salts and Nuxe body wash and lotion. The bed was very comfortable and the balconies (x3) were absolutely wonderful. Continental breakfast was 16 euros per person so we went to the hotel cafes for breakfast. Worth a review and stay in a good location.

The staff here was incredibly helpful and kind. Our flight was cancelled and we had to move to a hotel for the night. They set us up with the two rooms we booked ahead of check-in time. The rooms are quite large with nice bathrooms. Very clean, everything you need for a nice stay. The location is perfect for the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay and our favorite restaurant Verjus.

Been here 2 days 2 left.....wIsh we would booked a named hotel, Small boutique must mean dive...we stayed I. The largest most expensive room which turned out to be the attic, dormers that I keep hitting my head on and the elevator shaft noise every time someone uses it. Worst of all the smell of mildew and nasty which won't go away. As for the highlight the balcony a glorified fire escape and the chairs cushions not water proof and soaking wet. As for the service they got us I. The room early but second day we have been out since 8 and returned at 2pm and the rooms still dirty and more made up. They tell us of we stay in the room till after 5 it won't be made up.... Wish I was in a Sheraton or a Hilton maybe even a holiday in... And also no ventilation only heat no ac and no fan.
