Hotel Luis GmbH

Stayed for two nights and found this hotel to just be “okay”. The pros: easy to find, 10 minute walk to all you want to see, nice staff, and cute Italian restaurant across the street. Cons: loud, not super clean, and not well maintained. Room is very loud both outdoor traffic and hallway traffic can be heard in the rooms and I would not recommend it for light sleepers. Room 12 is in need of new carpet, we were turned off by the multiple stains and there were multiple hairs found on our “clean sheets”. The room is also an accessible room, which is fantastic for the hotel to have, but they didn’t disclose this to us at check in and this led to disappointment as it diminishes the charm. The shower is unusable, a shower head with two sheets around it and the entire bathroom flooded each time we showered. We started turning the shower off every few minutes to let it drain before continuing on which was very annoying. The room is also extremely small with very little storage so be warned not for travelers with multiple bags. Overall an “okay” hotel for two nights, not terrible but not superb.

This hotel is amazing. Great and friendly staff. They have a parking garage across the street. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's in excellent walking distance to everything.

We only stayed a single night but the hotel had nice rooms and plenty of space. The bathroom is a bit small, at least for the standard room we stayed in, with the sink almost being in your lap on the toilet. We did have a bit of trouble with the shower not being as water tight as expected but otherwise it was a really nice hotel to stay in

We booked two rooms last minute and were helped very quickly and kindly, even though it was right at the end of their workday, just before 8 PM. The service was excellent! The rooms were beautiful—spotless, tidy, and clearly well cared for. The location is also great: within walking distance of the city center, so you’re in the heart of town in no time. Highly recommended—we’d gladly stay here again!

You never know what you will get booking a place in a new place so I was so happy to arrive at hotel Luis. Stayed here for one night. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. The room is clean and spacious. The bed very comfortable. Walking distance to everything in old town and the river. Overall a fantastic experience. Wish I was staying longer.

Welcomed into the hotel with a warm hello and very friendly host. The in- process went well and all the features to the hotel were explained carefully. The hotel is very quant and comfortable and very private, located very close to restaurants, a large beautiful park, laundry and the bus station. They allowed us to check in early and stored our luggage for as long as we needed. The breakfast included, was delicious and they offered vegan and vegetarian options.

For our trip to croatia we used this hotel for the trip to and from croatia. Because Regensburg was exact in the middle of the trip distance for 2 days. Nice hotel and great rooms. Also well located at the edge of the city center of regensburg. Plus: -great rooms - EV charging possible. - Friendly service - Good breakfast choice. Minus: - A bit too expensive breakfast. Offering a more two price level breakfast. Like a full and limited light breakfast choice would be nice.
