Hotel Luna Ascona

Firstly and most importantly, extremely kind and helpful staff. Very clean. Everything is of good quality (faucets, mattresses, etc.). High-quality ingredients (cheeses, vegetables, cold cuts, etc.) in breakfast. Only boiled eggs, though. Coffee does not stand up to the standard of other ingredients. Location OK - on one hand, still a bit further from the lake but not too far, on the other hand, this contributes to quiet surroundings.

Highly recommend this hotel. The owners are super friendly and do everything they can to accommodate guests needs. The rooms are spacious with natural sunlight. Everything is very clean. The breakfast buffet is very good. Beautiful garden with trampoline for the kids. Relaxing terrace to wind down with a drink. Loved everything about this place.

Good location, quiet street, but still in the centre of the city. Big spacious free parking, no problem with spaces. Good breakfast, everything we would like to see. Nice and helpful staff. At night the hotel has no receptionist, you have to collect your keys until late. Funny but useful system for the keys - you leave you big key and take small one with you. Same key opens the front door. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and fresh.

We were a family with one 6 month kid staying for five days at Hotel Luna. The staff went the extra mile every single day to facilitate for us going on vacation with a baby, making sure that the hotel room had a bed for him even though we hadn't specifically asked for it, during breakfast they helped each morning to set a table in a good spot for us. They gave us very good information on buses and trains and helped us using our precious data as little as possible while we were outside the hotel by reminding us save the relevant information we would need on our phones.||||The rooms and bathroom are very fresh and nice, with a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast was excellent.||||The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we were happy to stay there.

This is the perfect pit-stop hotel to enjoy while exploring the Ticino areas! It was extremely clean and staff was friendly. It’s an easy stay to have something simple and easily accessible by car. The rooms were very clean and very well equipped. Loved it and will choose to stay again when in the area next time!

Owner very friendly and professional. Staff very helpful. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Lovely garden and close to large park. Easy walk into the center of Ascona and the lake with all the shops and restaurants. The only place we stay in Ascona.

We travelled with a baby and the helpful personel was amazing. They provided everything we needed for the baby and ourselves! Breakfast was amazing and the rooms had a great view. The hotel is located in the center but in a calm area. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and it was easy to take the bus from Locarno.

Hotel was very clean, super nics rooms (definitely good price), great breakfast and moreover VERY friendly and attentive staff, that go above and beyond to make guest feel comfortable
