Hotel Luna is one of the nicest places to stay in Vigan. It’s a four-star hotel, but what stood out to me is how well maintained it is. The whole property blends Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese influences, so you feel that Vigan nostalgia the moment you walk in, without losing any modern comforts.||The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The air-conditioning is strong, everything is well equipped, and the Japanese-style toilet is a great touch. The courtyard pool sits right in the center of the hotel, and most rooms and hallways look down into it, giving the place a quiet, old-world charm.||One of the highlights is the museum on the second floor. It features works by notable Filipino artists like BenCab and Arturo Luz. It’s a real gallery, not just a decorative corner, and it adds depth to the entire stay.||Chula Bar serves drinks and Spanish-style dishes and tapas, and is a nice spot to unwind. The main dining area handles the buffets. Breakfast is good, and on weekends they sometimes offer themed dinner buffets. We caught the Japanese buffet during our stay and the price was very reasonable.||Location is another strong point. The hotel is just off Calle Crisologo, the famous cobblestone street with shops, cafés, and restaurants. You can walk everywhere.||Overall, Hotel Luna is beautiful, comfortable, and full of character. If you’re planning a Vigan trip, this is a great choice.||Travel note:|If you’re coming from Manila, the drive takes about seven hours. If you prefer to fly, the Manila to Laoag flight is around one hour, and the land transfer from Laoag Airport to Hotel Luna takes roughly one hour and forty minutes.
