Hotel Lux

The rooms that the hotel accommodate us was in another build which was not a problem as the room was renewed, however the hot water was not working so we had to get a cold shower during the winter wich was so bad, also the heating was not working so we had a bad experience. What is good in this hotel is the location at two blocks from the Piazza San Marco.

My sister and I stayed for a night at the Lux. The room was quite comfortable; there was an air con and a mini fridge, which came in handy to keep the bottles of water cool. The bathroom was quite spacious and there was a hair dryer. The breakfast was abundant.

Absolutely horrible experience . From not friendly concierge to slippery stairs I end up falling off resulted in sprained ankle in the beginning of my trip. Great location but hotel is kept very poorly , the ONLY good feature was hot shower , imagine. Everything is broken inside . Denied an air conditioner, despite warmer than usual weather in November . We were eaten by mosquitoes alive since had to open windows for ventilation. Loud street , no rest . Would not recommend to ANYONE

Great location. Close to the "bus" (really a boat) station and to the saint marco plaza containing a great amount of things to do. The rooms look great and are very comfortable, perfect for couples. Breakfast is nice, croissants, jams and good drinks, nothing amazing but what they make, they make good. The staff is very welcoming and nice. we got great treatment. overall I advise anyone who wants to come to Venice to come and sleep here.

The best thing about this hotel was when we checked out. Staff remained watching a video on his phone when we arrived. Rooms were dark dirty and very tired. Beds were rock hard and it was like sleeping in a shed. Breakfast was regimented and staff were rude. Crammed into a tiny room with 6 tables and food was measly. There are many more hotels that are a lot better, to choose from. Venice is nice though and the location of the hotel great.
