Hitel old and cheap but very good, white clean bedding, big room, defentaly very good breakfast that I didn't expect. Breakfast included sausages, eggs, a lot of sweets, cereals, apples, coffee, tea, milk. It was very nice! Recommend for short stay. For entertainment the room you need to install app. Breakfast until 10 am and check out at 10:30 am that is very convenient

The hotel is terribly old, everything in the room including the floor, furniture, etc looked like relicts of the previous century. Suffice it to say that in our room there was a mini fridge that looked 30-40 years old. Even if it had worked, it looked too filthy to put anything in it. The stairwell looked like in a horror movie - peeled walls, dark. I would not have been surprised if I bumped into used needles :P Other than that the room was okay. The bed was fairly comfy. The bathroom was clean but small. No glasses or anything else in the room.

Old hotel: the entire buiding, facilities and rooms are outdated and in mediocre shape. Staff is friendly but slow. Beware to make sure the dont try to over charge for a room (in my case, i had to paid twice for "extras" not charged in the first payment when we booked it. Wifi is terrible, no signal in your bedroom, only close to the room main door. Cleaning is mediocre. Beds are too soft. Pillow are extremely small and soft. Good point is the location, is walking diatance to some interest points and 10-30min by car in some others. For the price, is not recommended this hotel.

For all these loving hotels which are not part of a major international hotel chain. This hotel has the charm of older buildings and is very close to the city center.
The rooms are spacious and very clean, the breakfast buffet is great and the staff is very welcoming and eager to please their guests. The grocery stores located right at the corner are very open late and very convenient.
The nearby water museum is a true must see and the visit is free of charge.
A great choice for those travelling on budget looking for a safe clean place where to stay in Buenos Aires.

The service and staff was great and one of them spoke a little English which I appreciate because my Spanish would not be enough.
Breakfast was good, the only things I would add are cheese and ham.
The only but crucial problem was the room. I am rather not posting the photos here. Send the information to the hotel itself to fix that. It is life threatening - the mold on the walls, room 608.

The place is kind of old and low budget but it sufficed quite nicely as a base camp for a half day stopover in Buenos Aires. I'd actually stay there again if I was in the same situation. Having a room was nice to change clothes and freshen up and after checkout, management stored our bags so we could continue touring the city.

The room was very big. Nice and comfy. The price was good.
The wifi is bad. You couldnt connect while your lying in bed.
The breakfast didnt had any diversity. Just jam and dulce! Too much sweets and sugar!
During breakfast there turned out to be a piece of glass in the sandwich. Luckily I didn't hurt myself with this. I reported it to the staff, but almost nothing was done about it. There was no apology itself. RIDICULOUS!!!

This hotel would have been The Place 60 or more years ago but it had fallen on hard times. The hotel is laid out as suites so don't be surprised if you find yourself with three rooms and a bathroom, all equipped with an eclectic mix of mismatching furniture. The rooms are gradually being refurbished so if you end up with an unacceptable one ask for a different room (the first one we were placed in was a bit....). Staff friendly, breakfast nominal, WiFi dreadful -- but that seems typical of today's Argentina, the only places we stayed where things were more "American" were the $100+++ a night international chains (and even then you could see the cracks -- sometimes literally -- around the edges).
(Pro tip for Americans. The sun goes the wrong way so you often end up walking in the wrong direction. Just remember that Riobamba is a one way street with the traffic going south!)
