We paid over 120 euros per night for a hotel that was overall a disaster. Very old facilities with no renovations at all. The TV was extremely small and outdated, and initially, it didn’t work. After requesting assistance at the reception, they fixed it, but it still wasn’t fully functional. The beds were hard, and the pillows were very uncomfortable and oversized. On the positive side, the room was clean, and the location was convenient. The breakfast was also quite limited and served in a poorly maintained and outdated area. I do not recommend this hotel—it was absolutely not worth the money.

Excellent place to spend a few nights in Prague. It has a good breakfast, the room was spacious, the beds were comfortable although the pillows were not so much (but that is already for personal pleasure), it had a strong coffee, a large armchair and 2 small, coffee table and the bathroom was a little narrow but very nice, clean and with good hot water pressure. There was also a kettle, some cups and coffees and tea. The hotel staff was very friendly and always in good disposition. Upon arrival you are charged a tax, which in our case was 12EUR (for 2 people). It is a 30-minute walk from what is the old center of Prague (where most of the attractions are) but if you don’t want to walk you can take an Uber.

the rooms are ok, staff is nice, location is amazing, just double check what you pay for. We ordered a room with sofa but didn't get one. There are stares to the lift, not great for visit with babies. Also bring a night mask, the rooms are very bright in the night. Don't recommend for longer stay.

It has a very good price per quality ratio. Good and clean rooms, good staff. The WIFI was a bit weird, disconnected by it self and was hard to connect again. Maybe to many users connected at once.... Good experience in general, would recommend.

We spent two nights at the hotel. The first impression was not so good — the reception with old, big keys hanging from the desk. The smell in the lobby was not promising. ||But we got a newly renovated room, with a newly renovated modern bathroom on the 3rd floor! The room was spacious, with two big windows. It was cosy and warm in the room. The room and the bathroom were spotless. ||The dining area in the basement should be a little bigger, but it did not diminish the fact the breakfast was delicious. ||We would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here at the begining of yeah year and could not have been better choice. We had a triple room and it was spacious, comfy and clean. The bathroom was nice and spacious room. The shower was one of the best i have encountered in a hotel. ||Breakfast had a good selection. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. ||The hotel is within easy walking distance fron the touristic areas otherwise you can get the 22 tram and it will take you there. ||||Really enjoyed our stay and recommend you stay here.

Wonderful little hotel with great, friendly service and excellent, varied breakfast. The rooms are quite small (Including the public areas), but it is clean, cozy and functional. Loved the little variation in the food each day and how cheerful the staff was. Prices are more than moderate. Don't miss the Máchova restaurant at the top of the street as well as the huge park in the vicinity!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September and we honestly couldn't fault this hotel.||We had emailed a few weeks prior to our stay to ask if they would be able to store our suitcase as we had an early flight and didn't want to be stuck with it all day. We received a quick response telling us that this is a service the hotel provides. We arrived at the hotel around 10am, expecting to leave our bags and check in later. However, we were met by 3 lovely members of staff who told us we were able to check in early. This got our holiday off to a great start! We were able to leave our bags on the last day as we had a late flight on the Friday evening.||We had a room on the second floor. The room was modern, spacious and clean. All amenities were provided (we had needlessly brought our own towels after reading a previous review saying these weren't provided.) ||Breakfast was good, there was bacon, sausages, boiled and scrambled egg alongside cold meats, cheeses, pastries and cereals. The staff kept the food on offer well topped up, which was good because it was busy at breakfast. ||Staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful and made us feel very welcome. ||The hotel is a short walk from the metro station Náměstí Míru on the A line. This made the journey to and from the airport very easy as we hopped on the 119 bus from the airport (7 stops) and boarded the metro at Nádraží Veleslavín (another 7 stops to Náměstí Míru) which took us less than an hour. There is a tram stop near the hotel, however we did not use the tram and opted to use the metro as it was only 3 stops to Old Town Square. We had bought our transport tickets at the airport but I believe you can also buy these from the hotel.|There are a number of restaurants in the area, along with a couple of supermarkets for cheap supplies should they be needed.||This hotel is excellent value for money. We hope to return to Prague next year and will definitely be staying at Hotel Machova again!

Yelp
The staff is friendly and the rooms are kept nicely. It is fairly quiet unless you have garbage pickup on Monday morning at 4am. We can't hear our neighbors which is pleasant because some people have multiple roommates and children. The breakfast has a bit of a less selection than we're used to: salami, ham, sausage that is really a hotdog, Swiss cheese, boiled bacon, ham, but it makes up for it with the calm atmosphere and comfortable seats. Our room was decorated on our wedding with rose petals and everyone seemed to know who we were by the end of our stay there. The front desk is very helpful, kind and personable which is tricky to come by when you travel so much. These people have kept their amiability amongst so many travelers visiting. There's no hot tub or crazy amazing rooftop, but there are some wonderful people that made our wedding very special to us. We didn't know that such kindness existed.
