Hotel Madeira Centro

For nearly 2 weeks their was very little premium hotel availability in Benidorm Centro area. So our 14 days became a three hotel stay.||First up was the Hotel Madeira Centro. It is very difficult not to be very impressed as one enters the hotel and arrives at reception. A very large area, with modern decor and spotlessly clean. Our 'check in' was handled very professionally and we headed towards our room. The room was better than expected with effective air conditioning unit, free safe, flat screen tv, tea/coffee facilities, good wardrobe space, nice terrace with good view, very comfortable beds and a top notch bathroom.||There was probably only one disappointment, and that was the restaurant operation. The food, whilst offering a good choice, is not up to the standard one would expect. It is excepted that the hotel houses a large number of guests, but even basic breakfast items were not good (fried eggs overcooked and hard, poor quality bacon). ||The pool area is relatively small for such a large hotel, but one could argue that it is only a five minute walk to the beach. There is also an indoor pool.||The ground floor circular bar area is very large, and again has supper modern decor and is immaculately clean, Drinks are pricey, but given the surroundings, this is not so surprising.||Other features include a rooftop bar with views, a top floor commercial restaurant with a very fine reputation. One of the lifts has a glass front and offers very fine views on its way the the top floors.||Our first visit since the pandemic. Food was better then. Everything else now, is at least as good or better.||Would be stay again ?? I am sure that we will stay again in the future, if the deal is right.

Impressive hotel on edge of Old Town. Easily accessible to Old town with its shops and cafes etc, Also beach is short walk away. Taxis and buses nearby. Market every Wed & Sunday closes around 2pm Taxi to new Pueblo market approx €8||Hotel staff seem nice , rooms are clean and have fridge ,safe hairdryers, And quiet. Good Aircon too etc. Roof top bar is worth a look for the view but was very busy so seating could be an issue. |Pool is very small and sunbeds can be bit exposed to direct sun from midday, which is nice But if you like to get shade there are not many parasols and the ones they do have are fixed so cannot be moved around. Best get down early of want a bed with shade.. note:- Height of hotel means sunlight doesn't reach Pool area till around midday.. shady till then.. |Pool bar is NOT open during week Which means a walk down stairs to other bar which isn't ideal on what should be a relaxing holiday, I believe should be open daily!! For the benefit of guests. Over weekend it seemed hit n miss for opening ? !|There are toilets near Pool but seems the light goes off every 8 seconds in there so have to dance whilst peeing :-) or stand in the dark.. Breakfast selection was bit sparce. Not much choice in my opinion. Cooked breakfast was not good! Not sure on main meals as only stayed B&B . |Nearby Mcdonals 2mins walk kfc 3 mins walk. Starbucks 4mins walk etc |Tip. Local little supermarkets (they call themselves) Very expensive for cold drinks and snacks in.my opinion.||Overall nice area to people watch and hotel could be much better with few little changes.

Location was excellent. The rooms are big & bright, large tv, kettle, comfy bed, spacious balcony and really powerful shower with a choice of two heads. The breakfast had a good choice of food and plenty of tables to sit at. The lifts are fast and there are five of them, one of which shows you the city and sea as it rises. The staff on reception are lovely they really know about Benidorm and they are so helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and kept to a very high standard. I will be back.

Great hotel for a few nights stay. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive until 4am the reception guy was super helpful evening making us a coffee. Breakfast good, location good. Pool area nice and quiet. Perfect quiet hotel for the craziness that is benidorm new town. Walk to old town fabulous

Great location, lovely staff, friendly and approachable. Very clean in all areas. We got upgraded as the room we booked was unavailable. Big walk in shower and modern facilities. We couldn’t find any English channels on the tv but it wasn’t a problem. Spent a lot of time waiting for lifts (we were on the 5th floor). Plenty of options at breakfast, tasty and fresh. Pool area quite small, every bed was taken while we were there. Rooftop bar is fabulous (we’ve been before) and the drinks and service were 5 star. Only four sunloungers in the indoor pool area so only went in once. We would defo visit again as it is great value for money.

An amazing hotel! Stayed with a lot of people split across different hotels and this was great. The location is perfect, you don’t hear any noise with nightlife but you’re close enough to head out. Air con is very good, rooms are cleaned daily.||The room didn’t have a balcony, but I never go abroad to sit in a hotel room anyway.||Breakfast could do with some improvements - hot choices aren’t the best, but I would still stay here again.||There is no sun around the pool until around midday/1pm.

Food is poor! The renoveded rooms are fine. Super nice view from the roof top bar. Would come back, but only to sleep.

I have to say the location was great the hotel was Amazing. The staff are very friendly the rooms spotless the food excellent. I will Definitely will be returning I could not fault This fabulous Hotel . I can't pick any faults we had an Amazing Time here and we can't wait to Return Thank you
