Hotel Madeleine

Lovely small independent hotel with endearing employees. The breakfast that meets many dietary standards is a tranquil start to the day. My room was very quiet, even though it was very close to the elevator and stairs, and located on the street side of the building across from the church. During my 4-night stay, I heard the church bells twice, on Saturday at 15:55 before an organ concert and Sunday at 10:55. The closed windows muffled the sound. The video is with the windows open.

Super friendly hotel just a short walk from the main station. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was a nice start to the day. Also surprisingly the best coffee I had during my whole weekend in town so stop by even if you're just wanting a cappuccino!

AMAZING boutique hotel. I can't say enough about the staff, location and cleanliness of the whole hotel!! Parking to unload right in front of hotel and then open parking lot around the corner for 14€ for 24 hours. We stayed one night and explored downtown and the Christmas market. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They also offer what looks to be an AMAZING bio breakfast at a very cheap price of 10.90 €. Thank you to staff, they are by far the friendliest hotel staff EVER!

I spent a two nights here - the staff were very friendly, the room clean and bright, compact but with good storage space and a very comfortable bed. It’s really well situated between the Hbf, shopping and nightlife (maximum ten mins walk). It was a really stellar breakfast offering and it’s great to have it included. Only snag point is the oddly narrow shower curtain.

Great price, location and view! Breakfast was fabulous, but not included in our special price. We will likely stay here again with our son living in Saarbrücken. (The towels should be more plush.)

It might not have a lot of extra facilities, which is probably why Hotel Madeleine is only rated at 2 stars. However, the hotel is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in - the room, bathroom, breakfast room and reception were all spotless. |We only stayed for one night. The beds were comfy enough, there was a little bit of noise from a nearby bar but not enough to stop us getting to sleep.|The breakfast was really tasty. My girlfriend is Vegan and she had plenty of choice: breads, jams, spreads, cereals and fruits. The selection of tea was amazing as there are about 15 different herbal and green teas to choose from (plus normal breakfast tea).|Everything in the hotel is very bio/organic based, from the toiletries to the lights to the breakfast items. |The location seemed good with the tram passing just the other side of the church outside. |Overall an excellent experience at Hotel Madeleine and I wouldn't hesitate to return on my next visit to Saarbrucken!

Amazing hotel right in the centre of Saarbrücken. Walking distance from everything including the train station. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious.
