This is probably the worst hotel in the world. The heat is unreliable and the hotel is freezing, the wifi is utterly worthless, the shower water is ice-cold, the staff tries to turn the electricity off and on to fix things, which sometimes works but usually doesn’t. They like to tell you things didn’t work when you needed them and don’t work now, but they’ll work later when you need them. Or they tell you they called someone to fix something, but that someone never shows up. ||Little things here are terrible too. They have trays of tea and cookies to welcome people, which they provided for our guides but not our tour group. Showers have no curtains. The freezing floors have no rugs. There are blazing overhead lights and nothing else (even though the room is equipped with switches for better lighting).||Nice high ceilings and minimal insulation so when the heat finally works it struggles to warm the room even when set to tropical temperatures.||Oh, the hallway lights click and off. Mostly off. Really tough to get your key in the lock. The locks are old and ratchety and take a few tries once the key is in anyway.||There are flat TVs on the wall. They’re connected to nothing and get nothing. Merry Christmas!
