Hôtel Majestic

The location is absolutely fabulous - right near major tourist sites, excellent restaurants and the tram, which makes getting around the city incredibly easy. Even though it is in the center of everything, the hotel is on a side street, so you don't hear city noises. The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped us when we had a laundry service (Comptoir de la Laverie) come pick up our laundry on the weekend. Since we were staying 4 nights, we upgraded to a larger room and it was clean and comfortable. Also, the shower door completely closes, so no water on the floor! Highly recommended this hotel and loved visiting Bordeaux!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The front of house manager, in particular, provided outstanding support and ensured that every detail of our visit was well organized. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and beautifully modern, offering stunning views that greatly enhanced our experience. Both the breakfast and evening menus featured a wide selection of options, all of excellent quality. Overall, the Majestic maintains remarkably high standards across its services and accommodations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

Centrally located - walking distance to the majority of city’s attractions. One block from main tram station. Super quiet and spacious rooms. Beautifully updated. And staff is sincerely amazing and accommodating. Great breakfast buffet too.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a superior room with a king sized bed. Our room was on the second floor and faced west. However, the noise from aftermath of the Christmas market at Place des Quinconces and the bars were hard to ignore at 3:00am. |Ken at the front desk was professional and kind. He also has a fantastic memory! |The location is good, as it is a short walk to the opera and old town area. |The wine bar at the front desk is great, and they provided some delicious canelés.

How are the caneles offered at reception more tasty than the famous ones I tried in the city? Staff were all amazing and super friendly. The standard room may feel quite small especially if you are traveling with a big luggage, but it was a wonderful stay anyway. 🤲

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and professional welcome at Hotel Majestic, as well as the helpful tips for exploring the city and choosing restaurants. Hotel was amazing - modern facilities with friendly and professional staff. Well-located on a quiet street just off the main square and very near to a tram stop. Didn’t have breakfast but there’s free coffee and chocolate as well as sparkling water next to the reception. A couple I was travelling with got upgraded to a suite.

Location is one of the best in Bordeaux. Easy 5-10 minute walk to just about any attraction. It's on a one way street so make sure you're going the correct way. Not the biggest hotel but very nice. Small front desk with staff there 24 hrs. They have a decent breakfast area with continental breakfast for a fee. I chose this hotel for the small parking garage( 5-8 cars maybe). I would reserve a space if needed in advance. There's a tiny elevator and amazing winding staircase. Hotel has really cool instrument and music notes carpet throughout. We had room 406 which has a tiny step down as you enter be careful. nice large room with huge windows that open. Closet is large with luggage rack, robes, and a safe. Nice table and chairs with another nice big chair and mini fridge. Bed was a real King and actually comfortable with plenty of power ports above the bed. Bathroom was nice and clean with great deep tub and good water pressure. I was able to plug my IPad into TV which is a must. Very nice comfortable room. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Bordeaux. Top Notch!
