If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and location, Hotel Maksymilian is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, welcoming staff who made me feel like I was visiting an old friend. The hotel’s decor strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and classic charm, making it a cozy and stylish retreat. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay—super comfy beds, crisp linens, and the kind of quiet that guarantees a great night’s sleep. The bathrooms are just as impressive, with top-quality fixtures and plenty of space to move around. The breakfast buffet is a treat—everything from freshly baked pastries to warm, hearty options. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you excited to start your day. As for the location, it couldn’t be more perfect. A short walk to the Old Town, so you’re right near all the sights, but just far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night away from the hustle and bustle. It’s the ideal spot for anyone wanting to explore Krakow without being in the middle of the tourist madness. The staff deserves a special mention—helpful, friendly, and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They even gave us fantastic tips on where to eat and what to see in the area. Overall, Hotel Maksymilian is a gem that offers an exceptional experience at a very reasonable price. Whether you're in Krakow for business, a romantic getaway, or a sightseeing adventure, this hotel is the perfect place to call home during your stay. Highly recommended!

Very enjoyable stay in Hotel Maksymilian when we visited Krakow for the Christmas Market. Clean comfortable warm rooms with complimentary tea/coffee and water, safe and fridge. Some toiletries are supplied and power shower was excellent with water always hot .Reception staff were outstanding, always polite and very heplful with information for guests. Breakfast was good for a 3 star, decent selection both cooked and contential and a popular coffee/hot chocolate machine. Tram stops close to hotel, nice restaurant in front of hotel and 10 minute dander to Christmas Market.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained and equipped with tea/coffee, fridge etc. Decent size rooms, great shower. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice and varied each day. In a great location, only 5 minutes walk to main square.

Locations is great and staff were wonderful especially Monika! :) Only a 10 min walk into the old town where there is plenty to do. Cosmic games bar is only over the road- which is really good fun. Rooms were nice and clean and breakfast did the job!

Arrived at midnight to find wrong room had been allocated and our twin was now a double. Staff very apologetic. Spend one night in room and was moved to twin in morning. Staff offered to move our other family members as well so we could be near each other, which was kind. |Beds comfy, bathroom modern. Free safe and fridge. Bedrooms warm. Bathroom had handwash/showergel and a hairdryer. |Loved the history of the hotel and bare walls in the breakfast room.|Breakfast, as advertised was continental. Plenty of choice, cake, cereals, cold meats, pickles, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, bread, toast. Hot food was scrambled eggs, hotdogs and a type of bean. Plenty to fill me up. Waitressing staff young but polite. Reception staff very lovely and helpful.|Pizza restaurant across courtyard which is also local bar but not open Mondays. |Main road room (my 1st night) noisy but not excessively so. 2nd room over courtyard quieter. |My daughter and son in law complimented the hotel as well.|Lift was maintained while we were there, but we had no problems.|Good value rooms in a nice, central hotel. We would stay again.

We were generally impressed. Our room was huge, well equipped and very warm. Reception were super helpful and the hotel is well located, it’s a short walk to the market square.||Breakfast is basic but it sufficed. Our only gripe was we had a front facing room on the 4th floor and it was noisy. We were convinced we had a window open such was the noise, but we didn’t! Noise from the trams is very noticeable.

The hotel was ok, and near to most things, Reception staff was quite helpful. No bar as advertised in the pictures which is why we chose this hotel. Breakfast was not very good and the staff in the breakfast room never said good morning or anything at all. Don't think I would stay at this hotel again. We also got silverfish in the bathroom and on the third floor, but it did smell damp in places around the hotel.

Yelp
This hotel has a restaurant. And there are happy hours (from 13:00 till 16:00). During these hours you can order from a "milkbar" page. There are soup and a main dish for 16zl. Quality of food is average. I don't recommend fried food, because oil was old. Service was good. And the last thing. The food is served on square and flat-bottom plates. If you want to know why this is bad design, than you should definitely visit the place :)
