Hotel Malin

I’m leaving a one star review because I’m not able to leave a zero star review. 1. Parking is 10 euros for a gravel lot not even that close to the rooms. 2. Cockroaches and lizards in the hallways. Spotted across from our first room, then cockroaches in the reception. 3. 1 am, the first room we were given, we were moved from because the card system wasn’t working. 4. Rooms are outdated and tiny. Bathroom is a disgrace. 3-1 body shampoo. 5. Because we weren’t part of a group, we were told to sit in basically a glass greenhouse where it was hot and humid and disgusting. Breakfast was very basic and nothing special. Coffee was disgusting. 6. When we told reception about these problems, he did not say a word. On our way out when we saw another cockroach, let them know, and they pretended to play dead like a dog. The manager was sitting next to the reception, but he couldn’t help us because he was dealing with another customer who was also angry and upset with the service. Do not stay here. Save your money and go elsewhere. I cannot believe we paid 200+ euros for such a terrible experience

Our stay at your hotel left us very disappointed, and I will not be returning in the future. It is completely unacceptable that the wall between two neighboring rooms was constructed from a wardrobe. As a result, I was woken every morning at 6:30 by crying children and could clearly hear entire conversations from the adjoining room.|I reported this issue to the reception by email, politely requesting either a change of room or some form of compensation, but my message was completely ignored.|Regarding cleanliness, everything was satisfactory. However, the design of the bathrooms was highly impractical. The shower cabin was extremely small, seemingly intended for children rather than adults, despite the fact that the bathroom itself was spacious enough to accommodate a proper shower.|Additionally, there were no toilets near the pool area or the dining/reception area; the only available toilets were inside the rooms, which was very inconvenient.|The food was acceptable, but far from impressive. For a four-star hotel, the variety was extremely limited and many dishes were frequently repeated, especially compared to other 4* and even 3* hotels we have visited in the past. The desserts offered at dinner were particularly disappointing.

First and definitely the last time we will come here. We were a family of 5 that booked 2 rooms. They placed us each on the opposite side of the building. Rooms are outdated and even if they weren't, they're too small to have us hang out together at the same time. Only time we spent together was at the pool (which is small) or when we left the property (which was often for obvious reasons). You have to pay extra for parking per night! Parking is far away than expected and mostly no spaces available. The sauna costs extra. Booked a full body message for a hour. The guy that gave the message literally only did my back. No legs, which was disappointing cause my calves were sore from all the walking up hill to the hotel and across the hotel to the other room. There's a coffee machine in your room, but they charge you for every cup of coffee. Breakfast buffet was par at best. When asked if they do omelets they said yes, my spouse asked for a veggies omelet only to recieve plain scrambled eggs. The only good thing I can say is that the staff were friendly. This is truly not a 4 star hotel. It's more like a 2 star hotel with 4 star pricing and a 1 star experience. We will most certainly never be coming back. I regretted not canceling after finding out about the room situation. Waste of money and vacation.

Our stay at this hotel was truly an excellent experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. The hotel is perfectly located close to the city center, yet offers a peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to fully relax. The breakfast was varied and of high quality, making it a perfect start to the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and worry-free stay!

Not a true 4-star hotel, more like 2 or 3 stars. The hotel is outdated and lacks basic amenities. There’s no room service, no iron in the room, and parking is inconveniently far away. Would not recommend if you’re expecting a 4-star experience. Overpriced. Staff is helpful.

Surprisingly, there is an additional fee for parking. The Spa is great, professional massage and 4 saunas. The service is great, especially Mr Zlatko from maintainance department who was professional, helpful and polite during unexpected cirqumstamces. This man is a real hero.

We spent Monday to Friday in Hotel Malin and experienced good service, good atmosphere and location as well as nice rooms. We stayed in a newly renovated room 332 with a very nice view. We were able to change from floor 1 to floor 3 after asking in the reception, very helpful. The room was fresh, clean and worked well for our family of three (two adults and a young boy). The breakfast was good, above what I had expected, with sparkling wine available to add a bit of luxury feel. The dinner that was included was adequate, and although our son really enjoyed it, we as adults sometimes felt that it was lacking. However, we never left with less than a full stomach and with a glass of nice red wine added, it worked out well. The hotel is very near the beach, just a 2 minute stroll, and the sunbeds available to the guest at no extra cost are conveniently placed. You need to be quite early in place to get the ones in shadow, a tip. We often walked a short distance to a nearby bakery to get a light lunch, very convenient and cost effective. The location is near the airport, around 45 Eur for a taxi. IF you walk along the beach you will reach the center of Malinska in 10-15 minutes with a good number of restaurants available and a nice harbor. I can really recommend this hotel, specifically if you get the newer rooms that have been renovated.

Perfect! It was really great and enjoyable stay there. Really correct and flexible management! I suggest this place for everyone! It has also one of the greatest location if you want to discover Malinska by walk.
