I recently visited Mamalla Bhavan, a pure vegetarian restaurant, for lunch, and it was a disappointing experience. The food quality was subpar – the chilli parotta was merely pieces of parotta mixed in sauce, with an overpowering raw sauce flavor that made it inedible. The sambar rice lacked basic seasoning, with no salt at all. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this hotel for its food. However, one positive aspect was the restroom, which was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, available for just ₹5 per person.

Best for south indian veg option. Doesn't disappoint at all. We took our 1 year old and 4 year old kids for dinner here. Food was very good without a single complaint

I guess it lost its shine. Had breakfast but not good. Poor vada full of oil. Sambar not ok, white chutney not ok... ☕ coffee bad... poor ambience.. high cost. It had legacy but I guess its lost now... better to avoid.

This is decent pocket friendly hotel near bus stand. They have good wall paints and pictures of mahabalipuram. Food and service is above average

Great place to have food with family. Dosa was golden in colour. Had many other dishes like idly, meals and ghee dosa. All were tasty and pocket friendly. Plenty of parking space available. Must visit if you are going that way and have south indian veg food.

Satisfactory service with tasty food. Had fried rice and a meal; both were delicious, with generous portions. The place isn't very luxurious, but the quantity-to-money ratio is good.

A very authentic South Indian restaurant. It's near Mamallapuram bus stand and parking can be done nearby. We went here for lunch and the place was packed. They serve the food on banana leaves with a plate of rice, 3 types of sambar, rasam, poriyal, papad and poriyal. The taste was okay and it was fulfilling. The price of one meal is ₹90. Do visit here for a good veg restaurant in the area.

I Would definitely recommend this spot for a good vegetarian meals The cost is Rs95 which was affordable and the taste was also good The chappati also tasted yummy But don't try chinese items like noodles or fried rice ..First of all you will get it too late And noodles literally tasted like.the semiya we make at home with no salt The friedrice tasted oki Chilly parota was also okayish but was spicy and salty
