Hotel Mamma Santina was a pleasure to stay at. From the staff service in the rooms to the resturant at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything was perfect, professional and clean. The hotel has a homely sense to it as its family run and holds rich history which you can feel when you stay there. Could not recommend to stay here more if you want a comfortable and home like stay.

Words are not enough to describe the level of hospitality - as they anticipate all your needs including kindness. From filling your water bottles before you leave for the day, to making eggs exactly how you like them. The hotel layout offers immense privacy while making you feel a part of the family. The warmth of the family and the bright sun made our trip to Salina better than ever imagined.

A wonderful family-owned hotel in the heart of Salina’s Santa Maria. We loved our rooms with balconies looking out to the ocean; the excellent breakfasts with home made jams and granitas; the friendly and helpful staff (nothing was too much trouble); and the very clean and charming swimming pool. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from shops and restaurants, but is tucked away up a hill and is quiet and peaceful at night. It was such a joy to have a taste of Aeolian life and I hope it’s not too long before I can go back!

Hotel Mamma Santina made my visit to the island of Salina perfect! Such a beautiful place to stay with a wonderful team making me feel very welcome! Make sure you try out their delicious food in their restaurant and have their homemade granita for breakfast! The hotel is in walking distance from all the other restaurants and shops in Santa Marina and the bus stop to visit the rest of the island.

Wonderful hotel! Mamma Santina hotel is fabulous - a beautiful hotel in a superb location with views across the bay to Lipari. But really sets it apart is the service. Elinora, Ubaid, Mario and the whole team went out of their way to look after us. Every need is catered for, and everything is so thoughtfully and attentively done. A truly wonderful stay: I can’t wait to come back, and recommend Hotel Mamma Santina wholeheartedly!

An absolute must for anyone visiting Salina. Rooms extremely clean and nice, extremely accommodating and nice staff you can never go wrong. Food was absolutely amazing every night, we genuinely could not have had a better honeymoon.

Delightful place, everyone incredibly helpful and the food was very good. A breakfast of freshly baked brioche, granita and a cappuccino looking out over the Aeolian Islands is hard to beat! Look to return soon.

Our host gave us this recommendation for dinner and raved! about Mamma Santina . So we gave it a try of course! No doubt - it is a beautiful restaurant. But: make sure to have eaten before you go there and do have at least €300 in your pocket. The food was good but the portions mediocre. It was 4 of us in our party and ALL of us were still super hungry after we left. I picked up the check and was shocked - I paid about €290 for 4 starters, 3 entrees, a bottle of wine and two bottles of water. Would not recommend.
