MANI by AMANO Group (Berlin, Germany) 25 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In Berlin, the Amano group is known for one wildly popular venue: the Amano Bar, a rooftop hot spot at the Hotel Amano that’s frequently featured in travel magazines — usually highlighted in bold text beside an image of sunset views of the city skyline. This is something a little more low-key. Located nearby in the Mitte neighborhood, Hotel Mani is the Amano’s smaller, quieter sister, with just 63 rooms." - Tablet Hotels

My warmest thanks to the reception team – they truly are gold! They went above and beyond in taking care of my parcels (even sending one back that arrived after I'd left), offering me a few helpful extras during my stay. And it was done effortlessly that it never felt like too much – just thoughtful hospitality that made me feel at home.Whenever I visit Berlin, AMANO will be my first option to consider. I felt safe and welcomed; the location is perfect, the breakfast was good.

The hotel was great for a three night stay with the best location in Mitte - lots of souvenir and trinket shops close by! Rooms are clean and service was amazing. Tried the brunch at the restaurant and was also really good. My friend forgot a bracelet at the room after check-out and the hotel took full responsibility for it and send it back couple of days after to Barcelona!

This was a very smart hotel. Elegant, with some character, and a bit of a sexy vibe, probably fun if you're travelling as a couple, or hooking up. Personally, I was more interested in breakfast, which was really good, with a very classy presentation. They also have a snack bar on the ground floor which I believe is open all night, so you can go down and get a drink or a sandwich any time. It's not the kind of hotel with a social vibe, but its comfortable and well located. My only minor complaint is that I followed their self-check in service precisely, it's simple, but then my key card wouldn't open my door. The lock just kept flashing blue. When I went back to the lobby, it was difficult to find a member of staff to help me, so I asked the young girl at the bar, and she did help, but was not friendly or gracious about it (there was literally no one else around for me to ask, and there were no other customers). I know I probably just caught her at a bad moment, but it doesn't feel great to be greeted by a machine, and your only human interaction is to be treated like an inconvenience. It kind of sets the tone of your stay, you know? Anyway, basically I thought the hotel was very nice.

Hi we stayed here for a few days.|The location is great close to all the stuff.|Check in and out was easy. |The staff were do helpful with directions and assistance.|The rooms are great, a little tight around the end of the bed where the tv is, otherwise clean and fully equipped.|I did hear that you could not get more coffee pods but that was not the case for us.|There is a great cafe for breakfast out of the door to the left at the junction across the road.

What can I say, first the good: location and breakfast and some of the staff members (those that work during the day). The bad: it seems every Saturday night, they turn the hotel into a club. They don’t inform any of the guests it just suddenly happens and the loud disco thumps into the wee hours of the morning. People staying at the hotel complain every Sunday morning, the hotel says sorry and it happens the next weekend. When I went down at 1:00 in the morning to ask if they could turn it down, they said it was beyond their control. They clearly don’t care about their guests - just their loud party every Saturday night. The fact they don’t tell any guests about it is shocking and their attitude about it all is even worse. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else.

This was a very disappointing stay. I spent 3 nights in Berlin, and for 2 of them the AC in my room (which was included) didn’t work. Without it, the room was unbearably hot, so I had to keep the window open—but that meant dealing with constant, overwhelming noise from outside. I asked the receptionist for help, but nothing was done. On my final night, they moved me to a different hotel, yet didn’t even bother arranging transport for me to get there. Overall, a terrible experience. I do not recommend this hotel. Daniel Mata

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Really do not recommend. The service starting at the communication before the arrival was bad. Self check in did not work, they did not have correct booking data and continued to confuse everything. They gave my sister a key card to someone else’s room so she walked in on a stranger. Stay away, many better hotels in the area

All in all a good hotel suited for a short stay. The area surrounding is good, a 15 min walk from an area filled with shops, restaurants and hip vibes. The showers in the room have zero privacy (transparent glass doors that can be seen from the bed) so when traveling for work and sharing rooms with coworkers it can be awkward.
