"In the heart of Old Québec’s Upper Town, Hotel Manoir Victoria blends 19th-century grace with an updated urban-chic vibe. A recently completed $8 million makeover of the 1830 property’s accommodations added a calming palette of ebony, gray, and cream and amenities like electric fireplaces and living areas, as well as iPhone chargers, rain showers, and pod coffee makers. Guests have no shortage of diverting destinations to choose from, including a spa, indoor saltwater pool, and fitness center. The hotel’s gourmet restaurant, however, usually beats out the competition, earning high praise for its thoughtful Nordic-inspired Québecois cuisine using seasonal, locally sourced, and foraged ingredients in dishes such as carpaccio of elderberry-marinated arctic char with cattail heart and milkweed pod."

This is a beautiful quaint Hotel in the heart of old Quebec City and is close to all the shops and restaurants within the citadel. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times on business and vacation and it has never disappointed us. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable, especially the suites. The most pleasing aspect are the wonderful staff that are friendly, helpful and professional.

We stayed at this hotel three nights as part of a senior travelers group of 50 people. As previously noted there are 25 steps to the lobby but they do have freight elevator to accommodate those in a wheelchair or scooter. (We had two in our group ) The wide steps are easy, with landings every 5 steps, and railings on both sides. There are elevators off the lobby to get you to your room.||The location of this hotel is outstanding and one of the best reasons to stay…everything is within a 12 minute walk, through beautiful cobblestone streets with shops and restaurants on both sides. ||Rooms were large and recently done. We were a party of three and had plenty of space. We had a walk in shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. Wifi is free and met our needs. We did experience an issue with “wake up” calls on two of the three nights. We spoke to the front desk and they were going to investigate the cause. A backup alarm might be wise if you’re on a time schedule. ||Breakfast was included with our package and it was a buffet with many offerings: scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, cold cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, to list a few. We were on a time schedule so it was crowded but the breakfast room can accommodate a good number of people. ||We did have a pre-selected dinner with our package. The food was adequate, but with limited servers the service was slow. ||Overall, it’s a great hotel, wonderful location and I would stay there again in the future.

💕 we recently celebrated our anniversary with you at Hotel Manoir Victoria. We feel fortunate to have found this beautiful hotel. We received a warm and personal ❤ welcome with excellent service. We enjoyed a beautiful suite overlooking Rue St Jean. Walking 🚶‍♀️ was enjoyable and the best way to see the city. Beautiful French restaurants were everywhere 😋. Hospitality in Quebec City is warm and friendly. Thank you. We hope to return.

This is a great hotel. The location is ideal right near the main restaurant district, I mean it's about 100ft to the street with dozens of restaurants and shops. All the attractions are within a 12-minute walk. If you are driving the parking option is outstanding. The garage attendant took our bags and had them in our room before we got there, maybe 10 minutes. The breakfast buffet was complete satisfying for our needs, plenty of options and the value was good. We read some reviews where people complained about the 20 steps to the lobby level. My wife and I are both in our mid 70s and we had no problems. Hotel staff is available if you need assistance. I recommend this hotel highly,

We stayed at hotel Manoir Victoria for a sister’s weekend. Since there were four of us, we booked the grand luxury two queen room. I am so glad we did as it was plenty of space for us. The hotel is in a great location around the corner from plenty of shops and restaurants. As others have said there are stairs to get up to the hotel lobby but once there then it’s elevator to the rooms. Valet parked in the garage and the bellhop took our bags directly to the room. It was so easy to get there. Overall loved the hotel and the location. Quebec city is a fantastic city to tour and we loved the trip.

Google
Wonderful hotel. Great service, great location and super clean. The restaurant attached is also wonderful and I believe a Michelin star. Highly recommend. One tip: valet parking is $34 per day. However, 5 min walk away is underground parking lot for $20 per day.

This is an incredible hotel. Located right in old Quebec in the walled city. It is incredibly clean (amazing housekeeping staff). The rooms are comfortable (we had a room with two double beds and it was quite large). The beds were perfect (very comfortable !!) The front desk staff were amazing (very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to be helpful) as were the porters/bellmen. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Google
We stayed at this amazing hotel over the past few nights. The location is perfect, and close to absolutely everything. The people at this hotel go out of the their way to ensure your stay is perfect. A special shout out to Nicolis, the front desk manager, whom went out of his way to accommodate a change in my reservation. This hotel has become my “go to” hotel in Quebec City.

Yelp
We had an excellent stay at this hotel ! Amazing location where you literally walk out into the midst of the city and easy to get to everything from here. Everything is a 10 min walk ! We had a flight cancelled the first night and even though they have to charge us they did give us some vouchers for breakfast the next day when we did finally get there. We got to chose from the rooms with a view or a suite but with not great views but we took the suite as we'd be out all day anyway and wouldn't be able to enjoy a view. I loved our suite. So roomy and great amenities and it was tucked away from all the other rooms in its own private area. Do caution the steps in the room to the bathroom which is unusual. And the step in the bathroom which could be dangerous at night . So be aware ! Not a handicap room for sure! Hopefully no one has had a fall in this room. Loved the iron and board tucked into the wall. My roommate and I had plenty of room to spread out and had our own space. Great beds and nice robes !! Nice big tub in bathroom though we never had time for that. The breakfast was ok. It was a buffet. Nothing fabulous. The staff were great here too. Helpful and courteous. Very well run establishment and clean with a nice restaurant attached called Boulay and they also had a nice little market for staples and some baked goods and gifts. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Yelp
This hotel was lovely. Our room was small but adequate. Buffet breakfast ($) was great. Service from staff was attentive. Chez Boulay was the best meal we had in Quebec.

Bea W.

Yelp
Very clean, tidy, seemingly recently updated hotel adjoining a very fine restaurant (Boulay Bistro) and popular Rue St Jean. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Only complaint is tall stairwell at entrance. My elderly (over 93!) mother could barely go up and down - and the front desk refused to let her use the service elevator to get up and down the stairs. However, another guest with a tour bus who was able to walk was allowed to use THAT elevator.

Yelp
The staff helped us valet our car and get our bags to the room in a snap. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the pool. There is an on-site restaurant that is very popular and distinguished that we never ate at but if you want to would recommend reservations in advance. The one thing we did not quite like was the breakfast. We went down to try the buffet but a large crowd was there and the spread was cleared out, so we ended up heading down to the street level cafe. However just down the street is Paillard and other great breakfast options, so it is not a big problem, at least for us. Overall the location is perfect for seeing the City. It was great to stay in such a historic hotel, it is with reading about in the guide.
google avatar

Alessandro G.

Yelp
Overall the location is good. But something I don't like much. Sure you will sleep extremely well and beds are very comfortable. However, the pool only open at 5pm and I cannot understand why. No logic behind! During the week the bar is close and sometimes the restaurant is closed. There was supposed to have a spa as they claim online but there is not. Overall ok but I am not super excited. Similar price you can sleep at Fairmont inside the castle :-)

Yelp
A nice welcome from the front desk is what we got after we introduced ourselves! We wanted to be right at walking distance within Old Quebec's hub and Manoir Victoria was the perfect fit. I generally like to stay away from touristy main stops, but since our trip was a short one, we intentionally chose to be in the snake's lair this time around. Our room was spacious and had plenty of room to move around... except, it lacked any drawers. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean-as it should be. Bathroom? Not ultra modern, but all Manoir's rooms+bathrooms, (especially bathrooms) have been remodeled with up-to-date showers/tiles and Kohler faucets. Additionally, our bathroom's tiles and grout, floors, etc- were super spotless. Manoir Victoria, is located close to everything and within a few minutes walk to major locations. The hotel has on-site parking for their Valet service. If you prefer, there are municipal lots several, several, several streets down. But in the end, we chose their Valet service for $30 per day. Maybe I'm twisting my words here but I almost didn't mind walking around Old Québec's neighborhood in frigid temperatures. I knew if we drove around, it was going to be a major pain in the as$: (1) trying to find "parking" in yea big streets or (2) not even finding parking at all- after driving in circles for God knows how long. However in the same breath, I also wanted our car to be at hands reach and ready within 5-10 minutes by calling the front desk, if we needed it. Roxanne was pleasant and took care of a room upgrade for us. Can't say the same for anybody else at the Front desk. We got the Customer-to-Business professionalism with a smidgeon of friendliness and that's it. They are efficient - but not entirely cheery. I'll be honest, Manoir's exterior speaks for itself so does the Lobby Area. Just wished, that rooms would follow suit. I'm going for a 3 & 1/2 on this one as our room was comfortable but it lacked basic amenities for our belongings. In the end, Manoir has a relaxed feel and was a nice stay- overall.

Yelp
Location: - Near the central train/bus station (5 minutes walk) - in the center of old town tourist attractions - 1-10 minutes walk to many restaurants Room: - modern, clean, efficient - bedding was very comfortable Service: - fast efficient service in both French and English Food: - Chez Boulay - comptoir boréal Vieux-Québec (downstairs) is great for breakfast - Chez Boulay-bistro boréal (downstairs) is good for dinner, will need reservation

Yelp
Very clean hotel. Very good location to tourist attractions. The pillows are so comfy. Valet parking

Yelp
The hotel is in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly, the rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. The pastry shop in the hotel was wonderful. Parking is available and easy. The hotel has a small gym and pool in the basement. There is no bar but there is a nice amount of seating in the lobby. This is a wonderful option in the touristy area. It's not right in the center but really at the edge so the street itself is not totally crowded.

Yelp
Stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel was beautiful and in an amazing location. Unfortunately the 3 days I stayed they did not clean my room for the 2 mornings I was here. Isn't that one of the main functions of a hotel. I'm hoping this is a once in a blue moon thing they do. But the more I travel the more I rely on my fellow travels to be honest in their ratings. Screw not wanting to say bad things. I had a rough week. Anyways... if there are more ratings like me I would say don't stay here.

Yelp
This hotel is a perfect depiction of what Quebec City is. It has an old charm with subtle modern touches that gives a feeling of luxurious comfort. The grand entrance consisting of the dramatically laid out staircase sets the tone very well. Located in heart of Old Quebec, it is walking distance to the best of what the city had to offer. From restaurants and shops to the rail station, it's all at your fingertips. We were offered an upgraded room for 30 bucks a night, so we made the smart decision of taking it. The room was completely modernized and had an oversized balcony that was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. Overall, it was probably one of the cleaner feeling rooms that I've stayed in. As far as hotels go, this is probably one of the best in Quebec City. The location alone is worth stay, but the rooms and service of the staff confirm that this is a great option for anyone visiting Quebec City.

Yelp
AMAZING PLACE. Service is amazing, rooms are impeccable, in-house restaurant has raaaave reviews, and it's walking distance from the best parts of Old Quebec City. So let me tell you a story... Checkout is usually 11? They graciously gave us until 1pm. We were having a grand ol' time at a nearby restaurant for lunch and we lost track of time. When it was 5 minutes till 1, we finally realized we would be late and everyone was in a frenzy. I calmly called the hotel from the restaurant and they gave us an hour extra and told us to relaaaax. WHAT. Best. Hotel. EVER.

Yelp
Lovely corner room with a nice spa like bathroom. Quiet hotel with an amazing Resturant-Chez Boulay. Pool is nice, the morning breakfast is well stocked and full of variety. Excellent concierge who helped us as well. Close to everything but not in it! We loved our two week stay!
google avatar

Yelp
We stayed in a clean, tiny room. We asked for a room with two beds and they gave us a room with one queen. That's basically all there was room for in the space. We could hear lots of families from other rooms on our floor and above us. Not a quiet hotel, but definitely clean. I will try out another hotel next time I am in Quebec City. The location is great and the valet staff were helpful with the in-and-out parking privileges.
google avatar

Anna R.

Yelp
My mother and I stayed here on our second time in Quebec and this is probably one of the best botique hotels I've ever been! Location is the best, walking distance to all the spots in Old Quebec! I had valet parking during my stay and they were very helpful and always cheerful. valet staff and doorman are the sweetest people!!! Room was very modern and clean, front desk staff was accommodating, we also had dinner at the award-winning restaurant on site, it was ok, maybe im just not a fan of the cuisine. But best thing about this hotel is: it wont break your bank for the kind of service they provide :)

Yelp
Fantastic hotel but the front desk staff need to be better trained on the 10-5 rule. This is a common hospitality rule that should be exercised at a hotel of this class. Altogether it was a beautiful room, exceptionally clean, and had everything you could wish for including a nespresso! (I think nespresso is so superior to Kurig, I wonder why more hotels don't have nespresso.) My room was perfectly quiet and perfectly dark when I needed it to be. The linens and robes were of top quality. The fitness room is a bit lacking in terms of free weights. However, it is such a beautiful city that if you can walk around outside for your fitness routine I would recommend that. Also I would try the sauna which was quite nice, clean and hot.

Yelp
This hotel has character. There are 20 steps to climb to get to the reception desk. However, this just adds to the character of this hotel. Loved the lobby area with the library decor. When we arrived we parked outside and the valet took our car keys to park the car. The bell boy brought our bags up the stairs. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. Great first impression. What I loved about this hotel is that it is so centrally located. Just around the corner from the hotel is a street filled with restaurants, shops, and street performers. The Chateau is approx. 3/4 mile. The fort isn't too far. The hotel bakery/cafe has delicious items (quiche was the best I have eaten). The rooms were of a decent size and so were the bathrooms. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I went to Quebec City. Old Quebec is definitely where you want to stay if you want to enjoy the flavor of the city.

Yelp
We stayed here the weekend before Christmas. On arrival our room was ready, we were checked in within 3-4 minutes. The staff were beyond helpful, from accommodating a late checkout, to allowing us to use a meeting room for a conference call shortly after our late checkout time. The room itself was clean, tidy and very well laid out, with the bathroom being a separate area of the suite. We used room service only once, for a bottle of wine, it arrived within 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again. In the heart of the old city, we could walk to any location we cared to see within the walls in less than 10 minutes.

Yelp
This hotel has no class, despite its 4-star rating. I booked through expedia (another lesson I have learned is not to book online). There was a mistake in the date, perhaps a click in the wrong box, but who knows. The minute I saw the mistake, I called and they are charging me as a no-show. They did not offer any help or human understanding, just complained that they have to pay expedia fees and scolded me for not calling them directly. They have no heart, they are rude, they insisted on speaking English to me when I switched to French, as if to prove to me that they could speak English (I can speak French perfectly). The manager was condescending, the receptionist was rude, it was just horrible.

Yelp
Great location for shopping and restaurants and the Hotel is well decorated. The fro t desj personell are excellelent. Ask if your room has a view, ours (110) has a view of a roof top and other rooms on the other side, not exactly ideal. Would stay again.

Yelp
The location of the hotel is great. Most of the attractions in Old Quebec City is within good walking distance and the view from the hotel room is nice since you are located quite high up. The standard room we had, however, is pretty tiny. It definitely looks a lot smaller than the photos online. Consider upgrading to a superior or deluxe room if you want a more comfortable stay. Despite being a historical building, the decor and amenities are pretty modern and decently maintained. The lobby is furnished like a library and have a pretty cool ambiance. Both restaurants located in the hotel were nice. Breakfast buffet was of good quality and dinner at Chez Boulay bistro was just wonderful. Beware if you are traveling with people with limited mobility or knee problems. The front entrance have a really long flight of stairs that is hard to avoid. You could try to enter from the back side at night when the restaurant is open. Valvet parking is just next door and is fairly convenient.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Spacious and modern rooms that seem very new. The location is great as well, with plenty of wonderful restaurants and shops. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Carolibe L.

Yelp
The entire staff was friendly, accommodating and attentive. The hotel is in walking distance from major attractions, stores and restaurants. The hotel is also very clean and has a modern yet historic feel. There is a restaurant in the hotel that is very good and they also serve a great breakfast every morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Jo H.

Yelp
Traveled with husband and two teen girls and was so happy to have chosen this hotel. The valet parking is wonderfully organized, efficient and the gentlemen are friendly and helpful. The front desk staff are also extremely helpful and check-in was a breeze. The hotel entrance has a large staircase with no elevator service until you get to the main floor. The valets will bring up your bags but you will have to climb those stairs unless you enter thru the attached restaurant around the corner. But if you plan to walk around Old Québec, plan on many hills anyway! Our room was nicely decorated and a good size for 4. We wanted the 2 queen bed option instead of doubles. Trash day is Saturday so plan on loud trash trucks that start at 6am (not the hotels fault) but loud nonetheless. Cute indoor pool. Great location near lots of shops and restaurants. About a 10 minute walk from the water and Le Petit Champlain area. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
We booked online with Travelocity and got a good discounted rate. The rooms were all updated recently and very clean. The place is nice and the staff was very kind and helpful especially because they speak both French and English! The valet parking is a good accommodation as was the free wifi. The heated pool was nice although they didn't have a hot tub. The location is the best thing about the hotel! Right in the center of everything shops, food, everything in walking distance! It's easy to find the main roads out of town to go site seeing with out all the traffic. I would come back again and I highly recommend it! It is defiantly worth it!

Yelp
Great spot for my family to stay during Christmas holidays. Rooms were up to date, quiet and well appointed. Upscale breakfast buffet available if you wanted or you could walk next door to Tim Hortons for a coffee and a bagel or downstairs to another cafe. Staff was helpful and courteous. Did not use pool or spa but it looked first rate. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would have liked to see a Christmas (Holiday) Tree in lobby - every other hotel had them. I would go back.

hasmik a.

Yelp
Charming hotel in a central location. Within walking distance to all attractions. Staff is a mixed bag. Some were very courteous and attentive. Some were snooty and didn't even open the door for us when we entered the hotel. There was tremendous noise outside. Unable to sleep every night or early in the morning.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Great location, extremely friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, Nespresso machine in the room, whirlpool tub in the room, clean and well maintained pool with lifeguard, clean sauna and locker rooms. My only knock on the place was storage in our very large room - two small drawers for four people.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Manoir Victoria in late June of 2017. From the moment we got there, we were treated like family. I pulled up to the front door not knowing where to park. From that moment on, Fredrick took care of everything. The car was parked, the bags removed and taken to our room with a delightful smile and wonderful attitude. Anytime I tried to help with anything, Fredrick said "You're on vacation!" The hotel staff we all wonderful; the room was clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable that we've ever slept in. The hallways were also remarkably quiet. The location of the Manoir Victoria is ideal for those who want to see Quebec City. Just a few minutes from Le Chateugh Frontenac and in the other direction, the charming Rue St. James with its shops and restaurants. Right in the middle of where you want to be when visiting Quebec City. I highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again without a doubt when visiting Quebec City. It's a gem and I'm glad we found it. Tip: The upper floors give the best views.

Yelp
So you probably don't want to be a porter at this hotel due to lots of stairs, but you will want to stay here. Big rooms, modern design, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Excellent location right in old town. Walkable to restaurants, and shops in old town. Great place to stay!! #freewifi

Gavin H.

Yelp
A fantastic location and great staff. The location is excellent and speaks for itself with everything in Vieux Quebec very close by, Tim Horton's & Chez Ashton right next door, a plethora of other restaurants and shops nearby and cabs are quick and easy to take you to other places in town. Coming back to the staff and the hotel, they are more than happy to assist in english or french and if you want to practice your french, if they are not tending to other guests they are more than happy to provide you with a lesson or two. The hotel is lovely and is in great condition. Rooms are comfy and nice. We had a small issue with our bathroom (as in the toilet flooded the room) and upon notifying them they were immediate in their response. Maintenance and room service was on site at 4 a.m. just a few moments later, fixed the problem and cleaned the mess and provided us with a spotless bathroom in a matter of minutes. Not that it was our fault but no questions were asked, they just wanted to fix the problem and make everyone happy as soon as they could. A special thanks to Bernard and Nicholas at the front desk for making our stay extra wonderful.

Yelp
We stayed here in October 2015 and really enjoyed our stay. We had a new updated room, but not all of the rooms have been updated, so make sure you request one. If the room would have been bigger I would give them 5 stars instead of 4. The room was still very nice and so was the bathroom. It came with a fully stocked refrigerator which we always prefer. Fantastic location, in the heart of the city! Will definitely stay here again. A lot of steps at the entrance, if you cannot walk up steps, do not stay here.

Diane S.

Yelp
I had a group in house for 3 days and the staff was so very accommodating. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great location

Yelp
Ok, so the room was very small but well kept and the bathroom was clean. The oddest thing I've ever seen ... We had 2 windows facing an enclosed wall. We got no natural light .. Couldn't tell if it was raining or sunny . Why have windows if you can't even see sun light ? To be fair the staff was very friendly and the location was good.

Yelp
We wanted a weekend getaway in Old Quebec, when we found the Manoir Victoria we booked it and I am glad we did. Very clean and well-kept room the hotel is conveniently located to rue Saint-Jean, right in the heart of the old city. We were able to easily find places to eat, hang out and could walk to anywhere we wished. My only note of caution is if you drive a large vehicle as the parking garages in the area are VERY small/tight, but we were able to find outdoor parking just a few blocks away with the help of the doorman. I would strongly recommend staying here and we plan on making it our official place when we are in town.

Yelp
4 stars for this price and location. Very convenient. Staffs are so nice and helpful. Gave us a free upgrade. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Old outdated hotel. Friendly staff, great location but the rooms need updating. A bit of a smell as well. Would not return.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays. Located in the old town, the hotel was close to all the places we wanted to go. The room was more than adequate, tastefully decorated and clean with a large bathroom. Even over the holidays, housekeeping services were unobtrusive and complete. All staff were friendly and very helpful. My wife enjoyed the pool. Valet parking was reasonably priced and efficient. If I were to return to Quebec, Manoir Victoria would be on my short list of places to stay given its overall value.

Yelp
Super nice and helpful staff, convenient location with 24 hour Tim Horton donuts right outside. Center of the action. Brand new room. Comfortable temperature controlled room. Didn't go but hotel restaurant looks very nice. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Yelp
It is an excellent location and a beautiful hotel. Was happy with my experience and it made my trip to Quebec very special.

Yelp
Stayed here with my partner for a birthday visit. What a wonderful place! Excellent location. Down a side street right in the middle of the old city. Can't beat this location! The hotel is undergoing a makeover. We were in a unremodeled room but it was just fine none-the-less. The staff is very friendly and quick to help. They were so fast getting our luggage out of the taxi that my partner asked where are bags had gone! We swam in the pool and it is quite nice but closes a bit too early. My partner got a massage at the spa and seemed to enjoy it. We didn't eat in the restaurants but they look very chic and nice. would stay here again! Great place!

Yelp
Staying here now. This hotel is very nice. Rooms are kinda small. Wifi is terrible. We ordered room service the first night which was pretty good. It's location is great. Easy to walk to great places. Make reservations though everywhere you go. The rooms are comfy, clean and no different from a 3 star hyatt regency or something like that. The location really gives it a lot.

Yelp
I was at the Saint-James restaurant on Saturday, Feb. 28 celebrating my sister 50th birthday with family and friends. What a disappointment that was. I felt sorry for my brother in law for recommending this restaurant. The food, which is their main source of revenue, was, how should I say it nicely, awful. From the pasta which seems to be your speciality to my veal loaded with disgusting gravy that had been sitting in the pizza oven for too long, it was awful. Nobody finished their servings. The heat from the pizza oven was also at time unbearable. I never write to complain but this is just not acceptable. There are so many good tables in Quebec city but they are not even close to make the top 100. On a positive note, we really appreciated the person who served our tables that night. She did a good job but she is not responsible for the quality of the food.

Yelp
Great hotel in a super location. Room was impeccable. Everything you could want, modern and very welcoming. We stayed on 6th floor, our friends the 3rd floor. They, and others in the elevator, complained about the loud trash pick up noise very early Saturday morning that woke them. We didn't hear a thing. Great blackout blinds. Bedding top notch. Would definitely stay here again. Didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked nice. Would've liked there to have been a lounge for a cocktail/nightcap.

Yelp
The breakfast is horrible at this place. They admitted they freeze their food like muffins for several days. Service is impolite and not well trained.

Yelp
We purchased a package through Orbitz for a vacation trip to Quebec City, Quebec to attend the Festival d'Ete Quebec, an annual music festival. This was a particularly important trip for my wife and me, as it was a long-overdue celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary and also a celebration of my successful passage through a dangerous and potentially life-threatening surgical procedure. The airplane flight went without incident, and we arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon to find that we had no reservation. As you might expect, we were concerned about that, and spent most of the rest of the afternoon of our first day of vacation on the telephone with Orbitz trying to get the situation resolved. The hotel staff, particularly Bernard and Valerie, were extremely helpful and supportive, and found us a room in a sold-out hotel so we didn't have to sleep on the street on our first night in Quebec. The also spent almost as many hours as I did working with customer service reps from Orbitz to find out what had happened to our reservation. They didn't have any more success that I did, so they gave me an upgraded hotel room for the remainder of my trip at no additional cost to me, and spent even more time talking with Orbitz to try to get the situation resolved on my behalf. Bernard, Valerie, and the whole Manoir Victoria staff have a deep commitment to customer service, and seemed to take "going above and beyond" as a standard method of doing business. They saved my vacation, and turned what could have been a seriously unpleasant situation into a happy occasion for me and my wife, as we celebrated 25 years together and the promise of many more. The hotel itself was just great - it was in the old part of Quebec City, and was comfortable and in great repair, even though it was on the older side. The spa and exercise facilities were great, and the attached restaurant and bar was also very good. The customer service attitude was what made everything better, though - I'll not hesitate to go back to the Hotel Manoir Victoria. However, I will hesitate to use Orbitz again to book a trip. Everybody makes mistakes - the real measure of quality is how you respond to them. Orbitz customer service pointed fingers at the hotel, was unresponsive and resistant, and would not consider giving me the courtesy of simple and helpful considerations for my time, trouble and extra expense - they offered me a $50 credit on my next Orbitz booking (fat chance) and refunded the fee on my airline tickets ($13). I spent over $100 dollars in international telephone charges getting the situation resolved, and also spent significant portions of my 7-day trip working to resolve a problem they created. I will return to Quebec and Manoir Victoria again - I will NEVER use Orbitz again.
