It’s an average hotel yes it’s clean but it’s a little overpriced. Double room 100 euro per night plus 14 euro for each person for breakfast which was good with limited options but expensive for its price.

We went to the hotel to take a cooking class to learn how to make stuffed peppers and tomatoes and a cheese pie. Maria and Katarina gave the three of us a great lesson, we ate the results. While we did not stay there we can say the place was spotless from the entrance, the lobby, and lower level with it's brand new kitchen. A fun way to spend the afternoon! Our 12 year old also gave the lesson a 5 star rating. Highly recommended. If I return to the area I plan to stay here!

My experience at Hotel Marabou was exceptional. Run by a family that wants to make you feel at home. The food is like the food you would get in a traditional Greek home. Cooked with love. Great view of Chorefto and a short walk to the beach. Beautiful gardens surround the hotel. Between Hotel Marabou and their partner, Pelion Scout and Pelion Secrets, I enjoyed kayaking and hiking the majestic Pelion area. One of the most beautiful places on the planet.

The best hotel in Zagora/ Chorefto. It is SO beautiful. The hotel is very comfortable and run by the most amazing family. The restaurant is incredible- homemade, traditional Greek food, like you'd get living in a home (honestly, the best I've had anywhere in Greece). They also work with a great company that organizes day trips like hiking or kayaking (Pelion Scout). Make a trip here- it's so so worth it.

The hotel is wonderful and the view is breath-taking. But the strongest point of Marabou Hotel is the loving family that runs it. Nothing compares to eating dinner at the balcony of Marabou. The food is great, I strongly recommend the restaurant ( grilled squid and chicken with orange sauce are a must to try)||and the rooms are clean, cosy and with excellent view at the sea . ||And I have to mention also Pelion Scout, the agency that organizes outdoor activities such as hiking, boat trips, kayaking etc. You get to see the real beauty of Mt. Pelion (try a combo of hiking and boat trips , and you'll earn yourself a lifetime experience)

Have been to Chorefto several times, but first time in Marabou. This time I was travelling with friends , and we were hiking every day. This hotel, run by a family, is so friendly, you feel like a friend from the first moment. Beautiful view, and the best food. The room spacious and clean. Close to the beach! A good place to stay! Love Pelion area and recommend the place for every one who love nature and an authentic place.

The restaurant was fancy and there was also a hotel. It is on a hill so there were no cars. The view was good. They had a really good salad and the lava cake was lovely. The burger had an special style: it had meat and cheese but no bread! Still,it was good.

We stayed there last weekend. When we arrived (too early) our room was of corse not ready, but we were invited a drink and to sit at the great balcony with the amazing view of the sea, completed by the beuatiful olive trees. Then we got our clean, nice room. Although, it was in the basement, next to staff's rooms. And sometimes they weren't so quiet when passing. I would have wished for a room upstairs, but nevertheless, the room was nice. They could install some moskito nets at the windows, so yo could sleep with open windows in the night, listening to the sea. The breakfast was really good, and generally the hotel was in a good shape. The staff was always friendly and helpful!
