Hotel Margarida da Praca

I stayed 7 nights at Hotel Margarida da Praça and absolutely loved it. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely caring — I felt looked after every single day. The location is perfect, and the hotel’s interior has a stylish, down-to-earth charm with beautiful attention to detail. A warm, welcoming place that feels good the moment you walk in. Highly recommended for solo travellers and couples!

We stayed twice. The 1st time with just me and my husband. The second we added my son and large dog. They were very accommodating. Nice, comfortable roll away bed for my son. Nice, cold breakfast spread in the morning. Great location. Very nice people that work there. Very helpful with telling you places to go and things to do.

A wonderful hotel on the waterfront, close to the historic centre. The room was very clean and really comfortable, with a nice view from the window (I enjoyed watching birds flying around every morning). The lady who handled the check-in, as well as the young lady who worked at the reception and in the breakfast place, were amazing and full of hospitality. Thank you to the entire team. I will definitely be back to stay here again.

I had a top floor room with a terrace. The terrace was very nice. The rest of the room was mediocre.

Beautiful charm hotel, right in the heart of the city, and in the vicinity of all the main attractions. Rooms are super cozy and comfortable, and the staff is amazing, going the extra mile to make you feel at home! Love it!
