Hotel Maria

Come for the food, stay for the... come for the food! This would not be my best hotel experience. The TV was advertised to have seven or so channels, but there were only two available because (and I may have misunderstood the front desk person because they had trouble with English) the person in charge didn't pay the relevant bill. The rooms have no A/C by the way. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly, really great people. The food was amazing so my recommendation would be to definitely go eat here!

Interesting hotel /tapas bar. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking garage is across the street. Breakfast is OK.

Great food in the tapas bar on the ground floor. A decent variety of beverages but a bit limited in the amount of tapas available on the menu, 60% of the variety usually found in Stockholm for example. What you get is superbly cooked however, especially the seafood. If you're in helsingborg I highly recommend you visit this place as it will charm you with it's atmosphere and food.

Centrally located with nice accommodating staff. The breakfast was really nice although it did lack some things like bacon. My room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The price was good if you're not planning to spend all your time at the hotel but rather to walk around the city.

I would call it, well, interesting: The Tapas Bar in the ground floor has a nice atmosphere, and people are friendly. The rooms are standard- wise a bit poor: My "superior single" did not have any wardrobe, and the furniture is pretty old and used. Being polite, I would call it a bit special. Some like it, some don't.

The staff were friendly however the vegetarian options were a disappointment. The grilled seasonal vegetables were tasteless and drenched in oil. The vegetarian tortillas were nothing special and a tiny portion. Very pricey for a bland food experience.

Room 15 is terrible. It has a horrible humming and vibration coming from the downstairs restaurant. They even had earplugs in the bathroom but it just wasn't enough. Suffice to say I had two sleepless nights as they were fully booked...

Lovely quaint and quirky hotel. Lovely friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Well worth a stay if you are in the beautiful city of Helsingborg
