We made a reservation for a large group — around 20 people — expecting a pleasant dining experience for both adults and children. Unfortunately, our evening at Restaurant Le M turned out to be highly disappointing.
Service was extremely disorganized: the main courses arrived before the starters, salads were served at the end, and sauces were brought only after we had already finished eating. The cooked dishes were far below expectations, especially considering the premium location and pricing in Val Thorens.
What shocked us the most was the reaction of the floor manager. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally about the poor service, she interpreted a supposed “body language issue” from someone in our group and decided to stop serving our table entirely. Because of this, several children were left without food — something absolutely unacceptable in any restaurant, let alone one connected to a four-star hotel.
We left extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place. We sincerely hope that the management takes urgent action to improve staff attitude and service standards.
