Hotel Marignon made our 3 days in Paris for our 30th wedding anniversary magical. I have 2 words …ON POINT!||We have stayed in many 5 star and 5 Diamond Hotels and this hotel checked all the boxes. Being our first time in Paris I did my research and read the about the typical Parisian rooms, yet Hotel Marignon did not disappoint.||From a welcoming lobby and incredibly delightful staff that greeted us upon arrival. To an elevator with glass doors to take us to our room (many hotels I looked at had only stairs which is not feasible when you need to carry luggage up and down or after a long day of walking the city).||Air conditioned hallways and crisp cooled rooms (not a standard in all hotels) with elegant modern decor. To our surprise, our room was decorated with balloons, fresh roses, strawberries and a box of chocolates that we devoured.!!!|The modern bathroom had plenty of towels, plush robes for us to use and toiletries with great fragrance.||We stayed on the 6th floor with a large balcony overlooking the courtyard which was perfect for my morning meditations.||The room cleaned each day and restocked twice with a pleasant cleaning crew, which is not typical for all hotels.||The breakfast was amazing with a nice buffet and custom omelets in an elegant restaurant with an incredible barista named Yasim, who can make any coffee you desire! We actually ate dinner at the hotel on our last night and the food and staff were equally amazing.||We didn’t spend too much time on rooftop bar, except to snap a few pictures of the Eiffel at sunset .||But I think what makes this hotel really stand out is it’s location and front desk staff…||The hotel is situated on a quiet street in the center of Champ Elysees which was walking distance to almost everything ..and yes even the Eiffel Tower.||Yet the front desk staff, especially Loubna, Jean Francois and anther young girl (i can’t remember her name) are the heart of the hotel. They were ready and willing to help us with anything, as if we were the only guests there. Almost like our own personal butlers if you will.||Definitely a 5 Star Experience!!!||Some FREE tips for first timers …|AirportTaxi .com was the transportation we used and they great.I would suggest booking the way back the night before as it was not available on the same day.||Uber was our go to choice after walking for hours and needing a quick ride, and they were also what we used back to airport. A little more expensive than the airport transportation.||We had a terrible experience with Bolt!|We initially tried booking with them to airport but it was not showing as confirmed so we booked with Uber. The bolt driver did show up a while after we were half way to airport and then claimed we did the ride with him. So we had to initiate a dispute which was annoying. In addition the bolt drivers can increase the rate midway due to traffic, we were told, so the price you book may not be the price you end up paying.||Hope this helps you enjoy Paris|As much as we did
