During my recent stay at Hotel Marina Victoria in Algeciras, I had a generally positive experience. The price was definitely reasonable, making it a great option for budget travelers. Additionally, the customer service was fantastic - the staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs. However, the lack of parking was a bit inconvenient, especially if you're traveling with a vehicle. Finding a spot nearby can be challenging, and it's definitely something to consider if you're planning to drive to the hotel. The location itself is decent - it's a short drive from the port and the city center, and it's relatively easy to get to Morocco from there. Overall, Hotel Marina Victoria is a solid choice for those looking for affordable accommodations in Algeciras. While the parking situation can be a hassle, the excellent customer service and reasonable prices make up for it. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and perfect for travelers looking to spend most of their time exploring the area rather than lounging in their room. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in Algeciras, Hotel Marina Victoria is definitely worth considering.

The room was fairly large and overlooked the waterfront. The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was really nice to have. The staff was very polite, and helpful. There are some not so nice areas near the hotel, however we had no trouble, although one night we were out late. This is not a luxury hotel, and fortunately was very reasonably priced.

This is a perfect choice for an overnight before of after ferry ride across the strait. It's located literally just across the road from the pedestrian gate if the port.||I understand some of the varying reviews as this is not a luxury hotel, but room was ok and most importantly spotlessly clean. Soundproofing was not the best as we heard conversation from next room.||There are nice and cheap food options around.||Excellent value for money!

The good news is the room was clean & the staff were reasonably helpful. The bad news was this is a dockland location so unless you are catching the ferry & are broad minded its one to miss. The location isn't very nice but the hotel is inexpensive & the bus station is 400 yards away & the buses are modern & air conditioned. A 45 minute ride to La Linea/Gibraltar cost only 2 euros 45 one way. The free wifi was good. The walls must be thin because nearby activity was extremely explicit. Coming back to the hotel at night from the bus station we passed through a group of "ladies" a stones throw from the hotel. There are cafes either side & in front which are halal & alcoholic drink is unavailable. Not a place to take your wife or family.

Don't expect what you see in the pictures. There is no free parking, unless you find it yourself on the street. The front desk agent was nice for the most part but was very dismissive at the end of his shift. Location was ideal if you're taking a ferry to Africa. We weren't allowed to leave with the keys. I don't know ... was expecting a little bit more.
